Despite really high interest rates, our MMA currently has a 00.00% interest. Our other bank, 2.75%. Having an account with Bangor has lost us money. We have been charged $20/month for our high interest checking account that also an interest rate of 00.00%. Save your money and go ANYwhere else.

0% interest on a $50,000 money market!! You might want to call me ...I had three issues.... a "money market" that pays 0% was number one....the fact that he person on the phone told me that's not her job when I asked for other options...and #3 .....

Superlative in every way is my feeling. Very polite, courteous, attentive and thoughtful in Falmouth where I opened my account and in Millinocket as well.The assistant manager in Millinocket knows that I use a walker and One afternoon she was walking by the door saw me in my car and stepped out and asked if I had done my banking business successfully because they were closing in ten minutes. I had already been in the bank and had done my banking business successfully I was just taking a longer time getting in my car to leave. That Is the type of customer service they employ.....looking out for the customer! I also MUST add that I’ve had to call with a question more than once.... and the call-center response team is also superlative. Although I am not a large deposit customer by any measure, I’m treated like I’m worth $1 million. I certainly feel “that you matter more” at Bangor Savings Bank.
