Terrible service here. I brought my car in for a diagnosis because my car was having issues, check engine light coming on and off, jerking when driving and was making a grinding noise. I told them the concerns, I had and asked them to make a list of the issues. They took my car in and did a diagnosis and told me they couldn’t find anything wrong or tell me anything because they were no codes to read. I Went outside to my car and recording of the sound that I was hearing. Charged me $70 for nothing. To try and solve my own problems I took an educated guess and determined that the spark plugs needed to be changed. When I asked to set up an appointment they didnt want to because they couldn’t find an issue and said they needed a quote first. Waited for them to send me a quote, never heard back called them back called them back and their service manager informed me that they had no intention of working on my car. Thanks for Wasting my time waiting for an answer. I would choose to go anywhere else and suggest that everyone avoid this shop.

I had a flat tire and was driving on my spare. I needed a new tire quickly! Harmon's in Ellsworth had the tire in stock and was able change the tire out in the same afternoon. My thanks to all the service crew, you had me back on the road in no time at all.

They refused to sell me/ install a $1300 set of tires because they were larger than the stock tire size even though they were the same size that was already on the truck

Calvin was amazing, he took me in quick when they were booked solid, but less that 200 miles later my car broke down on the side of the road with the same problem it had when I brought it in. I paid almost 300 dollars there, to have the exact same problem 2 days later.
That wasn’t fun.

Great business! We were travelling with or RV and had a blowout on the truck. The campground we were staying at recommended Harmon so I gave them a call. Mr. Harmon took my information, called me back in about 10 minutes and said I can have you fixed up tomorrow! It was a fair price, the work was done on time and very professionally and the piece of mind priceless. Thank you Harmon Tire!

I recommend Harmon's to everyone who needs automotive repair. I have dealt with just about every other repair shop in the Ellsworth area and I have found Harmon's to be the most trustworthy. They work efficiently and accurately. Their excellent reputation established over the years is well-deserved!

Harmon's Tire is an excellent choice for service to my vehicle. Albert Harmon, the proprietor is a first-rate person who knows a great deal about car care. His diagnostic tests are able to pinpoint exactly what is needed, and he has the auto mechanics who know how to get it done!

Took my daughter’s car there for brakes and rotors, $650 later the brake pads were “extremely low quality” and had to be replaced and same with the rotors… they had to be replaced after 13k miles…1k miles over warranty. Less than two months after having the brake pads done she took it to a mechanic in RI where she had moved to and the pads were trash and had to be replaced. I should have known then the rotors were, too. So much money completely wasted by a company using subpar materials.
