This is an excellent liquor store. It is a must stop on our way to and from Mount Desert Island. There is always a good selection, great prices, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I walked in on a Saturday morning and found some excellent Bourbon and rye, plus a good deal on Caymus Wine. Thank you!

If you're in Downeast Maine and visiting the Acadia region or if you are a local like me, GBW is the place to go if you're looking for a more than ample supply and variety of wine, spirits, and beer. More importantly, the staff is knowledgeable and if you're not sure of what to buy, their recommendations have always been on point.

Excellent customer service!!! Impressive. I was not a number, but treated as an actual human being, as opposed to other businesses. Staff at Global beverage is helpful, very friendly, outgoing. Wasn't quite sure what I was looking for as the selection is overwhelming. But staff encouraged us to ask questions, and never badgered or hovered either. Prices are fair and competitive. Really great people that work there! Thank you!!!
