Wish I could give zero stars. Waste of time and money. After charging me $115 for a simple diagnosis of a failed A/C compressor, they proceeded to tell me that in order for the warranty to be valid on a new compressor, they would also have to replace the condenser and a bunch of other parts which were not broken, all for a total of over $1900. I never heard of such a requirement for a "warranty". I asked them for other choices, such as replacing the compressor only and forget the warranty, or install a second-hand compressor. I also asked if the $115 diagnostic charge would be applied as a credit on the final bill. I don't think that was well received. The attendant said she would have to ask the mechanic and get back to me. She never called me back. I guess they figured I was not going to be a pushover customer, so they decided to run with my $115. Meanwhile I got a dealer quote to replace the compressor with an OEM part and warranty for $1300. A mechanic friend of mine advised that I go with the dealer, since private shops often use overpriced after market parts anyway. I never found an auto repair shop that charges more than a dealer, but this is it. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS.

Incredible!! Made the appointment Wednesday. They got me in Friday at 10am and in less than 2 hours replaced a wheel bearing on gmc 4×4!! Definitely my new go to garage!

This family owned business just got our attention. I called and made an appointment for an O2 sensor. They diagnosed and replaced the sensor $90 less than originally quoted, because it took less time than expected. The owners daughter handled everything with kindness and accuracy. Our Toyota Prius had an unusual light on the dashboard that indicated it needed service while we were on vacation in the Bar Harbor area. We were able to get an appointment right away and they looked at the car immediately. They hooked up the car to the analyzer and were able to tell us what was wrong with the car, which it turned out was related to an issue we've been having for a while on the car and had brought to our mechanic in NY who could not diagnose it. They told us that the repair would likely be covered by an extended warranty, and recommended we go to a Toyota dealer. A Toyota dealer in Brewer confirmed the repair would be at no charge. Very impressed that they were able to see us immediately, diagnose the repair quickly and were honest enough to tell us that the repair would be free if we went directly to Toyota. Small charge of $40 for their labor was minor and well worth their effort. Highly recommend this local car repair shop - quick, friendly, extremely competent and honest! :)
