We absolutely enjoyed our time at Cold River campground. Everyone there was very nice and hospitable. It was very clean very well-kept. We enjoyed it so much. We’ve asked about a seasonal campsite. I am very happy that we were able to get one.

Awesome spot with great campsites and friendly owners. We stayed over the brook side and loved the sound of the rushing water. Highly recommend this campground.

Nice campground with seasonal sites sprinkled throughout the park. We were on #17 which is at the end of the road and afforded some privacy. Otherwise sites are tight. Reasonable rates, with the exception of a "resort fee" and "site lock fee". This definitely isn't a resort but a nice family campground.

The owners and all the campers we met make you feel at home. Very clean and well managed. I would definitely visit again and recommend the campground to other campers. Great place!

The camping site tents are spacious enough for two adults and one child.Pros, sleeping on a full size bed instead of the ground/air mattress.Electricity provided for the site allowing us to be able to run an extra fan.Bathrooms on site were clean.Wife kept jumping from the impacts of the acorns falling on the tent.On site gift shop/store provides needed amenities.Laundry on site plus a small game room and movie selection, along with books.Conn's, bathroom showers were narrow. Very minimalist.Mosquitoes have preferential tastes.Don't be far away from the bathrooms.If you don't mind bring surrounded by RV's and long term campers, it's a relaxing spot.

Great place, to unwind and relax, we rented the glamping site with electricity. It came with a bed,a couple night stands, and two benches.also came with 2 reclining lawn chairs. It was a very pretty spot with that was very shaded. The restrooms were very clean and tidy, showers were small, pool was well kept and very clean!!!Nearby activities: 10 mins from downtown Bangor,

We really liked how relaxing the atmosphere was at this campground. The campground owners and the seasonal campers were all very friendly and welcoming! We've been camping for 6 years and this was our first time at Cold River Campground. It just became one of our favorite places! Very kid & dog friendly.

Good campground, great location and probably great for trailer campers but $46US to sleep in a tent or car and walk a mile to get to shower is too much. Plus there ain't a single water tap near the site. Nice spare room in case it rains however. Got charged $3.50US for reservation when I did not have one?

Kathy and Matt were awesome hosts. Unfortunately my husband got sick and Kathy and Matt did everything to try and keep us comfortable.The Deer Lodge was well equipped, well decorated and very comfortable.We hope to get back to Maine and Cold River Campground again.

We really enjoyed this place! Bathhouse was very clean, hot water, etc, and a great place to walk for exercise. Nice people!
