We absolutely enjoyed our time at Cold River campground. Everyone there was very nice and hospitable. It was very clean very well-kept. We enjoyed it so much. We’ve asked about a seasonal campsite. I am very happy that we were able to get one.

Awesome spot with great campsites and friendly owners. We stayed over the brook side and loved the sound of the rushing water. Highly recommend this campground.

From Cold River Campground
Located within 10 minutes to downtown Bangor Maine, we are just a short drive to the Downeast Region and Acadia National Park. We strive to create an experience you will cherish for years. Our pull through sites are easy access for bigger rigs or you can park in The Burrows to be near the Arcade and the Pool. We are pet friendly. We host events every holiday weekend and several weekends throughout the month. The Hitching Post Country Store is open year around and offers several Maine created goods such as Coffee, Honey, and Maple. As well as all of your outdoor adventure needs. We are proud of our Big WIFI for your streaming and commuting needs.
