Always has that small town community vibe - even when using the ATM.Nice perks for checking accounts, for example: end of month refunds for ATM fees, no sneaky fees, online banking. Their savings accounts are great too.Wish they had more locations throughout Southern/Central Maine - though what should you expect from a TRUE local branch? Quality over quantity, and they deliver.”

“I was never a credit union member until banking institutions started raising their rates to continue making money. That started my credit union search...and how I found YCFCU in Sanford. They have two convenient branches in-town Sanford and South Sanford, as well as York and Biddeford. All are new construction within the last few years. The staff is BEYOND friendly, knowledgeable and consistently available. I will NEVER go back to a bank and will always recommend YCFCU. The only downfall I have is their minimal online banking site. The details aren't too great and there's no way to make online deposits (as of June 2012!!).”

“Wow. Very impressed. After having been extremely disappointed with my previous bank I decided to check out Partners Bank in Waterboro. Very friendly, courteous and professional staff. Had a new checking account set up and a debit card in less than half hour. 200 free checks arrived days later. This IS a bank that listens!”
