I've worked with Mid Coast Truck Repair & Towing multiple times and been impressed with the team there. They were very responsive when we had a battery issue, got it jumped and running on a pretty cold morning then worked with us to get new batteries installed. Also were very helpful sorting out a lift gate issue. In addition to being thorough in their approach they did everything they could to see us promptly and were happy to answer questions and explain things as they worked on the vehicle. Overall, great to work with.

They towed my vehicle to their yard and went through my personal items in the vehicle and pulled out what they thought was "valuable" and moved it into one of their tow trucks. They claimed my vehicle was a total loss with a bent frame and they wanted the buy the title off from me. There was also a blown fuse which was preventing the vehicle from starting when I picked up the vehicle from the tow yard, it wasn't blown just before they towed it, I replaced the fuse and it hasn't blown since. I'm not sure what happened here and I don't want to accuse them of it, but I know it happened in their tow yard. After a week, I replaced the lower control arm and ball joint and it was back on the road just like new. This place also charges a ton more than other surrounding places and I was charged a full day for my vehicle in their yard even though it got there at 11PM. They did not treat my vehicle well by getting a lot of dirt in it, and continuously forcing the door open past the fender when it wouldn't open the full length causing the fender to bend more than it already was and now a bend in the door. I would not trust this place every again with my own vehicles, and I hope no one else will either.
