Exactly what you'd expect from a true country fair. Horse and oxen pulls, 4H & livestock shows and exhibits, tractor and truck pulls, rides games and entertainment. Only runs from Thursday to Sunday but they fit in a lot. Bring a chair for the truck & tractor pulls and demolition derby. Well worth a visit.

This was my first time visiting the fairgrounds. It was for the Whoopie pie festival. My granddaughter and I had a great time.

Long line to get into the parking lot, long line to buy tickets. Better organization would help. Inside there is a serious lack of seating, especially covered seating, for people to eat the food they purchased from food vendors. It's a fun, hokie, festival but could be better with more organization.
