Most of the negative reviews preceding mine are for the oil company side of A.E. Robinson, and if someone is writing a review about oil delivery, etc., you know it has got to be for a bad experience. But my interactions with this location are always as a convenience store/deli counter, so here it is.We had previously tried two places for pizza since moving to Dexter: with one we weren't crazy about the crust, and the second was better but they have staffing issues so we never knew if we would be able to order. Then we tried pizza here and it was remarkably better than the other places. The staff has always been great, and, except for one day when fifteen people were in line to throw their money away on a billion dollar lottery drawing, the service hasn't been slow (and that day we were only scoping the place out anyway).Otherwise, they have all the usual trappings and products of your average convenience store, with the usual benefits and pockets of high prices. The pictures give an idea.So who knew this would turn out to be our go-to spot for pizza, and sometime I will try other offerings such as burgers and fries. As a side note, I believe the hours listed are for the oil company side of things, and that the convenience store has your standard crack of dawn to late-night hours.

This is the worst store to go to if you are a disabled person! It is even worse believe it or not if you are a disabled person who needs a service dog! Why are you may ask, because service animals are not allowed the manager there says there are no disabled people and there are no such thing as service dogs and he wants you to prove that you are a disabled person and need a service dog he won't listen that what he is doing is against the law and threatens to call the police on people it is a horrible place to shop I will never ever go there again! The manager has got something against disabled people and throws them out anytime he sees someone that has a disability so even if you don't have a service dog do not go in there with a visible or invisible disability that he thinks you may have or you will be thrown out !

Had two family members with serious emergency health issues this week (one being myself). Missed calling in on regular delivery day. Unfortunately, today our No, 2 heating oil ran out. I thought there was still a safety margin, but the house started getting very cold. Called the Dover Foxcroft office in a panic. They were able to get a driver out quickly. He filled my tank and bled my furnace. We've used this company for years. We purchased our new furnace from Robinson some years back.

Despite being on automatic delivery, my tanks went empty after hours. When I called I was told that because their computers were down they could not verify I was a customer so I would be charged a $70 off-route fee and another $70 for a pressure test, plus the cost of the fuel, cash only. When the driver arrived hours later he was drunk and did not perform a test.

I come to this store on a daily basis to get Blueberry Coffee. This is a Great little store, its clean its quite. The Cashiers are Good clean people. I'll be back tomorrow, and the next day and the next day... Amazing food.

We just got their bill with only 4 amounts itemized. (1)Total parts, (2)Total labor, (3)sales tax (4) travel charge - which is a new fee never before charged for the last 15 years that we have been their customer. We are not satisfied with their business practices and will begin shopping for better service and better pricing.

Terrible customer service, inflated prices for replacement parts, will not respond to email requesting clarification of bill, etc. Moved into new house with A.E. Robinson propane tank, but after trying to deal with these people and hearing all the bad local opinions, I am jumping ship to a new supplier with a good reputation. Who has time for a company that doesn't care about its customers??
