This place never fails me. Super friendly when you walk in even though they are always slammed with customers. I needed an inspection like yesterday as I use my Jeep for my job and they made it work. Showed up without an appt and a low tire. Within minutes I was in a bay having the tire fixed. Shop manager and manager were so pleasant and friendly. Gave me pricing for snow tires and explained the difference in the tires. Never felt put out or imposing. They have gained a new customer long term. Within 10 minutes back on the road and marveling at the superb customer service and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Dexter Discount Tires.

Stay away!!!!! Complete and total hacks and con artists!!! Spent over 1000 dollars to have some safety issues addressed. They never even took the car for a test ride. When the car was returned it was worse than when we dropped it off. When we gave them the opportunity to make it right, they shrugged it off like they had done no wrong. When my wife first talked to them they tried to tell her parts that didn't exist needed to be repaired. Overall worst experience with a mechanic I have ever had!! Unfortunately Google will not let me give negative stars. 1 star is far to high of a rating for this chop shop

My mom has been going here for many years. Don is an awesome man, he didn't believe in taking advantage of people! Now that Don isn't there any more they are taking advantage of the older women that I know of. A friend went there to have her shocks replaced. She asked them to look at her brakes because they were making a noise. They came back and told her she needed a new rear end! She took it somewhere else and her rear end was fine. Yesterday my mom took her truck to a mechanic friend tohave her brakes fixed. They had torched her lug nuts down too much which made them impossible to get off and still be able to use them again and ruined the aluminum rims. The pins weren't put in right on the rotators, they didn't put grease on them either. There was several other things that were not done correctly also. They do these things so that they can make more money when they have to bring it back. This place isn't trustworthy anymore.

The only place in central Maine that can change/balance a motorcycle tire. Within 30 ish miles of Newport, good people.
