“I've been shopping here every summer for about 8 years and realize they don't have any detailed reviews. Why 5 stars?Convenience, staff friendliness, and the selection is pretty good for the size of the store. You can find toys/balls, board games, common medicine/toiletries, tools/hardware, camping gear, office supplies, kitchen gadgets, cleaning supplies, and more. Even locals shop here which is always a good sign to me.It is more expensive, but not outrageously so. It's what I would expect from a somewhat remote locally operated general store with higher operating costs. That cost has saved me a ~2 hour/80 mile round-trip to Ellsworth multiple times.”

“Excellent completely rocker friendly store. I am from out a state (summer person) and they treated me very well (sometimes Mainers are a little grumpy). It is a really a large operation that caters to contractors, so everything you can need is there. If not they order it for you and deliver.”
