This is definitely one of the best natural food stores in the MidCoast. I occasionally stop by for a snack or a sandwich. Plus I just love the vibe of the place and the staff. It's also convenient that they have a couple of EV charging stations in the back.

We sell our aged organic apple cider at many co-ops, and this is one of our favorites. Well-stocked, delicious prepared foods, amazing wine selection. We always shop here when we deliver vinegar and when we are nearby! Mia and Bob Sewall Orchard

Love this co-op The service is friendly and the supply of local organic foods is perfect. Our family comes there from all over the country and we always shop at the Rising Tide.

Great small shop for specialty foods and other items. Good place for a quick visit with a small bag or two. A bit pricey on some things but to be expected.

My favorite co-op. Large selection of essential oils, cosmetics, vegetarian and vegan foods (and plenty of local meats for those who like it). Handmade items, borealis breads, local greens, desserts, craft cheeses, kite hill cream cheese mmmm. Good deals on smoked tempeh. Grind your own coffe, peanut butter. Best fake tuna sandwich around. Great salads to go. Merchandise is well made. I only wish the hot bar was filled better during lunch times. It seems only half of it gets filled lately.

It's a great shop. If you and your family shops organic it's the place to go mid coast Maine. Their bull section is particularly good.

This is the best co-op in the area.It has the most selection and is usually well-stocked.Prices are the best and they have the most programs to help customers save money.A co-op where you can do a ,’full shop,’ at least for me!Staff is really friendly, they genuinely care.I appreciate them. They have a pretty clean (ingredients-wise) hot-bar in the back most days that cater to a variety of diets. It’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for a meal. The hot-bar DOES get a little sad-looking though and could really use more frequent attention and refills.(No one really wants to pay top-price for crusty, old rice and such right?!?)The hot-bar also stops refilling early so get there well before dinner-time if you want a good selection..The hot-bar is NOT available Sundays at all.But they have a refrigerated prepared foods section right next to the hot bar if you are interested. The bathrooms could be MUCH cleaner.I have gone in first thing after the store opens to find them both gross so idk what is going on there??And the store CAN get very busy.I sometimes have trouble with those newer carts that have the bottom jutting out.But I usually find I can maneuver around OK.They also now have electric-charging stations in the parking lot if you happen to need one.Idk if that will keep your fancy Tesla from exploding though…All-in-all a very decent co-op.

Love the co-op and really love the thick pea soup with ham. It was a perfect breakfast on a rainy day in the light bright co-op cafe. This store has all my favorite things from Vermont goat cheese to chocolate covered ginger.

Amazing hot chili, wide selection of everything. Homemade blueberry muffins the best I have had in years, just discovered this gem after having lived here two years and love it.

Review your receipts before you leave the store!! Almost every time we shop here we are over charged because the cashier mis-keys an item. We were over charged $60 as she mis-keyed in our limes as pies. Just yesterday another cashier mis-keyed our 5 pound bag of coffee as a 20 pound bag, pushing our bill up by over $200+!!! We've brought this issue to the attention of management yet it's still a problem. We love the store and it's products, just not happy with having to always check someone else's work at the cash register.

Probably the best co-op I’ve ever been to! The selection is second to none, the prepared foods are amazing, and the staff is extremely friendly! I’ll be visiting every time I’m in the area!

Very unhappy about Rising Tides decision to discontinue the Wednesday 10% off Seniors Day. I was told they were only offering to the " needy" such as EBT cards etc. Since when do They think Seniors no longer need the 10% off one day per week? Many Seniors in Mid coast Maine struggle with keeping their financial heads above water most of us on fixed incomes barely over the poverty income limit for government assistance! Very bad move and not a good way to treat seniors. I am boycotting Rising Tide and will not participate in their Co-op fees again. Luckily seniors are still welcomed on Mondays from 8-9am for 20% off food items at Ocean State Job Lot and Dollar Tree store. Seniors are clearly second class citizens who have been relegated to buying canned green beans and canned hams at Ocean State and Dollar Tree Shame on you Rising Tide Co-Op!
