It would help if the owners posted photos of some of the aisles; most helpful would be plumbing and electrical parts, bird and pet supplies, the aisle with the multitude of sliding drawers containing screws, bolts, etc; maybe painting supplies. I notice a difference between Hammond Lumber, True Value, etc. in the offerings in the Midcoast region. You can send photos to Google Maps from your cell phone camera.

Picked up birdseed and was surprised to see how expensive it was!! Compared to other hardware store ..wow..what a differenceThen checked walmart....$14 less st walmart.....wow.Ordered on line from walmart.Apart from that the people are extremely nice!!

There is just about anything you’d need at a hardware store here! The prices are pretty high.. though I do love shopping here, the employees are pretty good at helping out too!

I went to this hardware store looking for a part for my outside oil tank. The gentleman I showed the broken part to took me to the appropriate area. He was extremely knowledgeable and got me what I needed in less than 5 minutes!!! I am very grateful ??THANK YOU!!!S Miller

Damariscotta Hardware is a fantastic store. They have almost everything you could ever need or want, with a fantastic selection of goods and great customer service. I have bought grills, fishing equipment, household items and more from them. I have also rented from their rental department with zero issues. Please keep in mind that their prices are higher than you will find at Amazon or Lowe’s. Markups can vary across products, but it is noticeable. This is not a reason to rate them lower in my opinion. They employ people from the community and help to support the local economy. I will always come back.
