“Delicious candies and chocolates, especially the cremes! Just recently visited after reading an article celebrating their company's recent anniversary. We didn't expect their store to be directly operated from their home, but the owners and other customers quickly welcomed us, and gave us suggestions on their favorites. We had never even heard of some of the different and nostalgic products they sell. For instance, it was an interesting experience to try old fashioned sponge candy in molasses and ginger flavors(Ginger is better IMHO) for the first time. After indulging in several samples we purchased more than we ever intended, and we were very impressed with the small, but efficient operation. The peanut butter cups, chocolates, truffles, and cremes were my favorite, but you have to try their peanut brittle! It is incredible, and I usually hate peanut brittle, and it has a great crunch without risking a tooth, and then immediately melts in your mouth. I'd definitely recommend Nelson's Candies to anyone. Hurry, I believe they close for the season on Christmas Eve!”
