We loved staying at the Perkins House while visiting Maine. Gretchen & Keith are wonderful and the house and grounds are beautiful. The carriage house is cozy and comfortable. It’s the perfect place to stay - a great blend of Southern hospitality and North Woods atmosphere. Centrally located to the mountains and the coast. Best Bed & Stay ever!

From the moment you pull up in front of the B&B you know it's special. You're greeted by the friendly owners and given the tour of their beautiful home. The room was beautiful and so comfortable. Woke up to the aroma of breakfast, which was amazing! So many areas to relax (inside and outside). The location is perfect; walking distance to restaurants and shops. A perfect getaway!

Love going to Cornish, Me! Stayed at The Perkins House for two nights and was very happy with the accommodations. Gretchen and Dolce (the sweetest Pomeranian) are very friendly hosts:) The house itself is a beautiful piece of history. We are going back in a few weeks to stay in The Carriage Barn with my 83 year old mom who wouldn’t be able to do the stairs to the second floor. She is absolutely going to love the Halloween theme! Can’t wait to go back. Dolce we miss you ?Nearby activities: Cornish Antiques and Kristas every time.Walkability: Walked through town, met many locals and their furry companions.Food & drinks: Gretchen made sure we had a delicious breakfast both mornings. She makes a mean yogurt parfait!

My family hosted a surprise Baby Shower for me here. We used their patio area- which was gorgeous! Not only were the owners so sweet, and the space and set up absolutely perfect, but the food they served us was out of this world!! They catered to my southern heritage and had the best homemade quiche, grits and gravy. This was such a great space/spot for a gathering. I’ll definitely use them again!

This is a beautiful place with tons of decor! The historic house looks like the perfect place to slow down and enjoy some time on the patio.This is an older home so ensure you read the descriptions and understand that the charm will come with drawbacks like noise levels. This is not the place to sleep in, with people up and about, host cleaning and vacuuming rooms or people using the bathroom in preparation for their day. You will hear it all. The rooms here do share a bathroom. Keep this in mind! Would have been nice to have a dressing table in the room for getting ready outside of the shared bathroom space. Possible idea for the host?The themeing and decor was beautiful, but it left no space to set out things in the room. We just had our toiletries laid out on the floor, so we weren't removing the beautiful decorations from their places. Our host was friendly in our interactions, greeted us when we came in, and texted us about tips in the area. This has all the feel of staying in someone's home! I think we came in the slow season. Breakfast on weekdays is small fare with a cooked meal on weekends. The host has an adorable coffee station with fun flavored syrups and Keurigs. We love staying at bed and breakfasts when we travel. Hope people find this helpful in their decisions if this place will fit what they are looking for.Breakfast photos uploaded! I am always looking for breakfast info, as I book with my stomach ?Rooms: Bed is firm and supportive with many pillows to fit what you enjoy. Rooms come in a theme with decor carried through in every aspect. Even the towels!You cannot control your rooms temperature individually. Our room had a window ac to keep cool. Be mindful for warm pajamas during season changes. Otherwise you may catch yourself wearing sweaters to bed like we were! Granted we did not want to bother our host at 11pm to ask for heaters.

Overnight in Cornish at the Perkins House, exceeded our expectations. The owners are lovely and a pleasure to converse with. Accommodations were very comfortable. The inn and the grounds are impeccable. Everything is thoughtfully decorated and fun to see. Breakfast was delicious! We will be back for sure!

We had a small intimate wedding here. The hosts made everything perfect and Keith, one of our hosts, was able to perform the ceremony. The decorations (near Christmas) were spectacular & made the wedding better than I had imagined. Our stay in the Carriage House was beyond our expectations and the little touches of love & kindness were present everywhere you looked. Highly recommend

This is the PERFECT place to stay at. Clean, Gorgeous and the owners are amazing. Breakfast is prepared with love. We had the best sleep ever. Highly recommend staying here. Beautifully decorated Home.

Absolutely loved everything about this B&B. Beautiful rooms, Owners are wonderful, I love dragonflies and there was tons of dragonfly designs and nick naks all over the house. And I love Halloween and it was decorated perfectly. If I had to rebuild my house I'd want it to look exactly like here. Breakfast absolutely delicious and filling

Gretchen and Keith made our stay fabulous! The home is beautiful and decorated above expectations! But the true beauty here is them!
