Do not use this underhanded tow company! I have had the misfortune of having to try to deal with this outfit twice and both times have been the absolute worst nightmare of a tow experience in my 50 years of driving!, They are deceitful on tow times and will over charge if they get a chance if they're towing you off the Interstate. Trust me, even if your using AAA, your better off paying for a tow than dealing with these folks.
(The office staff will give you an attitude from minute 1 and they are definitely not the top brass for dealing with potential customers and will give you the attitude they are doing you a personal favor!.)
Save yourself a big headache and go elsewhere!.

We broke down at a nearby gas station on our way home to CT from vacation. Blanchards came promptly to diagnose the problem and tow us to their nearby location. After a short wait while they sourced the part, we were on the road again and at a reasonable price. Total delay less than 1.5 hours. Couldn’t have asked for it to go any better than that!

I just watched one of Blanchards drivers throw a significant amount of trash out of the chassis of his wrecker onto the side of college Ave. Whoever that is needs to grow up and respect the community. Blanchards you ought to watch who you hire.

The tow truck driver and his dog were such a welcome sight on a busy afternoon on I95. So helpful, friendly, professional, courteous and understanding. Needing a tow isn’t usually a fun thing on vacation, but Blanchard’s Towing kept this inconvenience from becoming an emergency. He arrived quickly and got us to our destination as soon as possible. Thanks again, Blanchard’s!

DONT USE THIS COMPANY*** the took my AAA tow to Massachusetts, they assured me 5 times that they could do it and told me to leave my keys above the visor and they’d grab it , the next morning I call and they give me some nonsense about a tow driver “ losing his breaks “ whatever that means and try to sell me an alternator . Would not recommend this company to anyone. They were supposed to come at 10:00- 10:30 this morning to tow my car to my appointment I had today at 12:30 in Augusta, they never came. The driver called me a little after 10 and told me he was in Waterville and would be here soon. I only live 30 minutes at the most from there. 11:00 he still didn't come. I called the office and was told they sent him to get a car to drop off in Newport and he would be right over after that to get my car to get me to my appointment. I called the company where he dropped off in Newport at 11:15 and they said the driver just left. I only live 5 miles from there still no show at 11:40. So my friend and I decided to drive to Newport to see if I could find where he was. Found him by Walmart on the side of the road. There was an accident that he saw and he decided to stay there. I called the office again and spoke to the owner about it and he said he would find out and call me back. Of course I was upset and frustrate at this point. When he did call me back he was extremely rude and started yelling and said his driver was staying at the accident it was company policy and then he hung up on me. They never gave me a courtesy call to inform me that the driver would be late or informed me if what was going on. The absolute worst towing company!!!!

Our transmission blew in the middle of I-95 S while we were going back home to Boston. We called AAA, and they were having a very hard time finding a driver/tow that was willing to first, drive to Boston, and back (3 hours each way), and second, bring two "Commonwealth" as passengers (lol).
We waited for almost 3 hours, and finally Blanchard's was the only one who accepted.
Chris, the owner was great in orchestrating the whole scheme. A very sad, fatal accident had also happened at the same time on I-95 N, so you can imagine the caos.
Chris was able to reach a friend of his (nickname Harry, for his beard, I've been told) and he was able to get us out of the highway to somewhere safe, while we waited for our driver get cleared from the accident.
After being dropped off by Chris' friend, we waited for Adam, who was going to take us to Boston.
Thank God for our guy, ADAM !!!!!!
Adam's friendly and personable nature made the entire experience far more pleasant than we could have anticipated. He went above and beyond!!! Adam was worried if we were ok, if we had our snacks, and even did bathroom stops. Time flew bye!!!!
Adam for employee of the year! Pull out those gift cards Chris, Adam deserves it!!!

Hands down the best towing company I've had to use. Blanchard's has help my family in a tight rough spot for a long time. Especially last night 3/30/24 at 2:30am when I was picking up my daughter from the airport, and my tire went flat, then changed to my spare and my spare hit a pothole I didn't see in Freeport northbound on the I295.whicj went flat as well. Couldn't thank Blanchard's enough.

Blanchard towing excellent service would recommend 10 out of 10. My wife was stranded on the side of a remote highway in central Northern Maine 2 1/2 hour ride home and Blanchard towing. And LJ the driver was completely professional and made my wife feel Helped us a lot. Couldn’t ask for better service or better driver. Definitely recommend these guys won’t let you down.

So I inadvertently ended up using Blanchard's as my auto mechanic. Let me just say they have been the most patient and understanding folks throughout the entire process. My truck broke down and was towed by Blanchard's. I called to Inquire about my truck (ford f150 XLT triton) and the owner offered to wave my storage and gave me 9 days to pay ONLY the tow fee, which was $250 and was very fair. I then asked to have them replace my radiator, and when the weather and USPS lost my part, they immediately ordered a new one. I've yet to pick my truck up yet, but I can tell you I'll be coming back everytime. Thank you Blanchard's!
