This place was wonderful before it became an IGA. Prices have gone up significantly and the meat department doesn't seem to be as good. Do not even get me started on the $18 bacon cheeseburger basket... $18!!!!!!!!!!! They charge you $4 to put bacon on your burger (crazy, I know). Highest priced bacon cheeseburger in the county!

Let me preface this by saying, I didn't expect gas station pizza to be any good to begin with. I'm also used to eating pizza at a pizzeria, freshly reheated. That being said, Tobey's pizza is slightly better than I expected. The sauce is cheap, the cheese is cheap, but they managed to get a nice browning on the cheese. There's a decent spice blend on top and a good salty, garlicky taste to it. The base is pleasantly fluffy. No, the pizza isn't perfect, it's not even that great compared to most of the pizza I eat, but I'm giving Tobey's a decent star rating because they have decent prices, a friendly staff, and a good selection. If I was looking solely at the pizza, it might be closer to a 2-star. But again, that's not their main dish, so I don't think that should drag down the overall rating.

Our "first" dining experience as a couple before COVID... Got back to enjoy inside dining yesterday! Gotta have the homemade meatball sub sandwich. It's the BEST. Moxie served here too!!!

Great store, but don't even think of buying gas here unless you have half an hour to spend pumping it. They clearly don't want to sell fuel, if they did, someone would be paying attention to the fact that the pumps. don't. pump. They trickle. No one should have spend that long pumping fuel. Fix the pumps people!

Let me start this off with I am a former employee of this store . All my the sandwiches in my order were wrong and messed up in some way. Lousy customer service behind the deli. Have walked in and placed an order and I've waited over an hour for one order.

Good pizza and etc for lunch. Good meat specials.The gas is kinda high.The workers are friendly. The other prices are kinda high.The specials are good. Watermelons are well priced.Considering it in the middle of nowhere, it's pretty decent. If you are low on gas, you will like it more.

You would only go there if you had no other choice. Prices are not competitive; exhortation & price gouging at it's best. Their flyer comes with qualifiers ... "We reserve the right to limit quantities. Not responsible for typographical errors. Illustrations do not necessarily depict sale items. Not all items are available in stores." There's never any fluid in the window washing equipment at the gas pump.

Never buy gas a Toby's, they are the highest price gas around!! we just paid 22 cents a gallon less at Peaselys. MA Haskell fuel company owns Toby's , they are also the highest price fuel company. Don't not count on them for a good deal or pleasant service!

I love Tobey's. It is so close to home and their meat counter is full of options at reasonable prices. They often have deals that beat the larger grocery stores. Tobeys also has a deli that produces great food at a reasonable price. Their staff is friendly for the most part and the home town feeling is great. Every town should have a Tobeys. Update May 2018: the quality of service has gone down considerably in the last month. 3 out of 5 orders were either wrong or missing parts of the order (no french fries in a basket, forgot dipping sauce, Cole slaw and roll in another basket, buffalo wraps had no buffalo sauce on it). I really hope they focus more on getting orders right because this was one of my favorite places to order from.
