“Honestly I had the best pizza of my life at Flying Pond tonight. Cant believe I’ve never tried it! I am confused by the last review written a few months ago- I go in here atleast once a day but typically twice a day for the past 2 years I’ve lived here. I have had nothing but very pleasant experiences with all the staff. Can’t say anything but good things about flying pond! We live closer to the market in Readfield and go 12 minutes out of our way just to go to flying pond!”

“Irving’s rewards card to buy gas is what’s up… why would you not want to save 10cents a gallon every time you gas up? Using the card for purchases (that is linked to your bank account you would typically debit/credit from) gets you extra savings or rewards for even more money of per gallon of gas you purchase.”
“Great little store that I loved the whoopie pies at for many years. Unfortunately most of what they sell now are pre packaged and not homemade like they used to be. They still sell the brownie whoopie pie and that's delicious, especially with peanut butter!”

“There is a big sign on the front door that clearly states that one can use a debit card for any purchases big or small. I go into this business a few times a week and normally spend between $30 to $50 each occasion and I use my debit card. Today I went in because I had a short lunch break and I only got a slice of pizza. I was embarrassed and basically rediculed by the lady cashing me out. I understood her point about the charge to use a debit card for such a small purchase and I offered to pay the charge. She objected and while rolling her eyes rudely declined my offer. Sadly, I won't be going back to this establishment any further. I hope the owners are aware of her negative attitude. I was willing to pay the additional charge to be able to use my debit card. Sadly, this store lost my business. Lose her and I bet you'll see a difference. Such a great place. I tried calling to reach the owner. I would love to change my review. I'm going to give 5 stars because I hate to hurt a small business that I appreciate but that lady needs to go. I hope to talk to the owner and to feel comfortable going back in and spending my money again.”
“Great place with a full service gas station and a crew that goes out of they're way to help!! Good deal on heating oil and get a discount on gas when you sign up on heating oil. A plus hometown spot. Only thing that is not good is they close down daily for like half to an hour right at lunchtime. It's no biggie to me but the money they are loosing as I watch so many drive offs. You'd think there's a better way. It explains 3.9 should be a 5”

“Quick and easy, in and out type of store. I've never had to wait or seen long lines in this store. They carry gas too, which is convenient. Pay at the pump. The inside of the store is a bit dingy, could use a make over. Staff is always pleasant though and there is a public restroom and Dunkin' Donuts on-site.”
“Very busy but for a reason... It's Good! I have just recently started working in the area and stopped in for a slice. Friendly through the hectic. Nice clean store. I had my lunch at a back booth. I look forward to hitting up the menu!”

“Good thing Caroline lost her shirt to get pump and tank replaced . Norman Balsamo lied to her boy… she lost everything because of him. She put in the gas for the fryer.. she tried to keep it going, but when gas eventually got to the well, she had to close. So glad the store is still going!!!! Beautiful town!!!”
