About The Ark Shelter
The Ark Shelter is run by a wonderful group of caring people who are very helpful. The facility is always clean, with spotless surfaces and litter boxes. Visitors can take their time choosing a pet, and past adopters have fond memories of their experiences. The shelter often has many kittens and some dogs, and they have a policy that prevents dropping off animals at any time. Volunteering at The Ark is also a positive experience, with everyone being nice.

I adopted a cat here about 18 years ago, they were friendly and let me take my time selecting my new “Buddy” he was a buddy for my then lonely female. He was the sweetest cat ever. Both are gone now but I will always remember how they loved each other.
