Sweet store with an interesting selection of items to browse. I went for yarn, and they had a very tasteful selection. Loved the surprise of a record store on the second floor!

We had a great visit to this store. Downstairs houses eclectic gifts and more importantly, a yarn and knitting area. Beautiful quality product. Upstairs is Tony’s domain- vinyl! Check out his fairly-priced albums and posters. You will go home with something you will love.

I’m doing the Maine Yarn Cruise and rating all the shops. This one has the best view of all the shops, hands down! It overlooks Castine’s waterfront and has excellent dining nearby. Even parking wasn’t too bad on a weekday. However, if it’s yarn you want, there isn’t much to choose from. The shop itself is very small, so the yarn selection is proportionate. It is a tad pricey, with higher end cashmere yarns, but not many skeins of any one fiber (though more may be out back). I’d say it’s worth a stop, especially for the lovely location and pleasant staff, but be prepared for a small selection.
