Awesome beach for the whole family.
Playground: They have a couple. All a very nice for the little ones when they are all beached out.
Restrooms: A number of different areas with full working clean restrooms.
Dog-friendliness: They have dog areas even a dog beach. All of which are very nice and clean
Picnic area: The picnic areas are great. We’ve also used rented the group picnic area for my daughter’s graduation party. It was very nice for everyone.

We've camped all over the state of Maine, but keep coming back to this campground right in our backyard. It's priced at a premium over other Maine state parks, $10 more per night, but worth every penny. And I much prefer it to the campsites that cost three times as much that have cable hook ups and far too many conveniences. Nice balance between modern conveniences and good old fashioned family fun.

Such an amazing park. A great place to swim, and they have tons of facilities from bathrooms, to grills, to a snack bar. Tons of walking trials.Very beautiful views.Playground: Great for the kidsRestrooms: Clean and plentiful.Dog-friendliness: Dogs can go pretty much anywhere except right on the beach.Picnic area: Lots of tables and grills.

Each ranger has different rules, so one day you are doing the right thing and the next day you are breaking rules, nothing is set in stone here.

This is our third year camping here, great way to get away from it all and have some wonderful down town. Sandy beach, waves like the ocean! The only thing that can use a little improvement is the camp host's attention to the facilities. First year we have been disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers. Out of simple thing like toilet paper a lot. I hope the vet the host more than they seemed to this year. Other than that highly recommend!
