“Normally I love the vape cartridges I get from here...Unfortunately I got the Purple Punch CO2 from SunDog & expecting to love it, only to find out it tastes like Murphys oil soap mixed with some Ivory, lol!! Ok, maybe not that bad, but I swear I blew bubbles instead of smoke!! LolI got a Mai Thai from PTA today so I'm happy now . Just wanted to let you know what my experience was with it. Other than that you guys are great!! I told. Mike earlier and he was understanding. And kind as always. Tip, tip!! Haha. Thanks for everything and I'm sure someone I know will enjoy the rest of that cart,lol.?????”
“We were in Portland for only two nights and bound to go back home to Montreal when my wheelchair accessible van started to make a weird noise. We stopped at Hamilton Service Station and Dennis quickly checked my van and told us that we couldn’t go back home safely. Even tough it was a very busy Friday afternoon for him, he accepted to save us and fixed my van so we could back home safely as planned.

“I'm a fan of Irving stations so was happy to fill up here. It was busy at 8:30 or so with some large trucks getting diesel fuel. The price was $.30 per gallon cheaper than in rip off Brunswick!”

“Awesome new convenience marketplace attached to a gas station in the greater Portland area.This one has an unparalleled beverage section, with a long hot coffee selection, a shake machine and one of those mega soda machines where you can dial up your combo.Inside the Market, there is also a hot fried chicken counter and the best part...a Boba Tea stall!I ended up ordering a Taro Boba with no added sugar and it was spot on!Queen Bee is so big, there seems to be a lot of room there to grow, maybe open up a few more food stalls??”

Each one will most certainly provide you with what you need, but this one won’t leave you light in the pockets like the others will gladly do if you’re going to be pumping gas. “I work right next door, so I am there often, we have a HUGE employee shortage in SOPO, so you have to give them a pass, maybe they dont work as fast as other worker pre pandemic, but they are kind, thank you, your kindness helped me that day, they look you in the eye, I am horrible with name, like borderline I need to be admitted..... but I asked for theirs names and all I kept saying all the way back to the office is Heather and KAy, 11/21/22m about 11am, These two really helped me, I dont have alot of money, I am just getting back on my feet, they could have embarrassed me but they did not, I was short a little on $$$, we figure it out, and they did not embarrass me, they treated me with respect. It was a slender your wonman, kind of talll, maybe 25-35. The guy he was brown hair, not fat, not skinny, he seemed to be the newest one there. He was really trying and he handled it like a bosss. Thanks guys I see you tomorrow for some more glazed donuts.... ONE LOVE, Cheeers. Odod”

“Wow!!! Best little market/gas station I have ever been too! The food is so good that I know a couple who had their anniversary dinner there when the wait at Olive Garden was to long... here are 100 other restaurants near by but the food at the Rusty Lantern Market is AMAZING!!! It isn't gas station food... It's top of the line restaurant food. Lots of parking, drink selections, alcohol selections, an awesome manager, clean bathrooms and like I said before the BEST FOOD! When is the last time you were at a gas station where the trash cans were not over flowing with trash? I have never seen over filled trash cans at that Irving station. It's my 1st pick for a gas station in all of Portland/South Portland.. I seen someone said it was expensive in another review. There are some places you might find some things slightly cheaper. It's pretty much at par with other places BUT the items that seem "pricey" are unlike anything you will get anywhere else! Plus you get what you pay for and you get your money's worth. One of their salads is 3 meals for me because they pack so much in one of those containers. Not many people can finish one of those salads in one sitting. Get money than one dressing because those veggies are crammed in there pretty tight and you will need it! Don't miss out! Give it a try... You will not regret it. I bet it will become your favorite place to get gas and everything else. Oh man I almost forgot to add this little fact... There are other Rusty Lanterns and a lot of things are the same at most of them... But not the food. I have had pizza at 3 other stores in the chain and none of them have even came close to the store on congress st. .. their pizza is amazing! I'm betting it's the best in the state of Maine. It's not like that at other stores. They get different crust at some stores and all the stores have different ovens. So where the Rusty Lanterns are all clean places with good gas, drinks, alcohol selections and so on, you can't get the same amazing food at the other locations that you will for sure get at the Congress st location. Facts! Sorry this is so long. I like to be descriptive as possible in reviews..Ps... Their lobster rolls are made with fresh lobster meat cooked and picked locally. They put so much on the brioche roll that you have to take some off and eat it by itself because you can't open your mouth wide enough to take a bite and also it's piled so high it will fall off anyways! No joke.. I love the deal they have when you buy two.. and even more than the deal I love that they add a dill pickle spear wrapped in a sandwich bag to the container the roll comes in... Amazing!!!!! Now that I have talked about them I'm craving it and I have to go to the store and get one... Plus a slice of pizza because they make fresh pizza all night. They pack the cold case every night with freshly made food. There is no place I have ever seen that comes even remotely close to that place...so that's my honest opinion, thoughts and feelings... “Stopped to fill up my rental car. The bays are small. There was one vehicle in front of me and I could barely pull up enough for the gas hose to reach my gas tank. Other than that, I liked how close it was to the airport for a fill up.”

“It's clean, but the gas prices are higher than other nearby places, they pay their staff less than MacDonald's does, and sometimes they don't stay open until 11PM (with no warning or explanation). So if you need gas, tobacco products, or a quick snack & a drink and you're right here, by all means stop in. But if you're headed towards SoPo and on a budget, there are gas stations in SoPo that charge less for everything.”
