Discrimination! That was the treatment I received from the worker (long, tall and thick hair) when he did not want to sell cigarettes for not having an “American identification” when he presents my passport which is the only thing I have been asked for when buying something that needs identification

Impossible d’acheter une bière sous prétexte que la carte d’identité et le passeport ne sont pas américains… comme si on ne pouvait pas lire une date de naissance sur un document étranger. De plus, les rayons de nourriture chaude étaient complètement vides. Ne vaut absolument pas la peine d’y aller. Même les employés ne sont pas accueillants. A fuire.

UPDATE: The air pump at this gas station *sometimes* works, but currently only takes quarters and doesn't read cards.Okay, so the last three or four times I've stopped here for gas, the pumps haven't been working. And there haven't been any of those red bags on them to indicate they're out of use (though the screen reads "down for maintenance" - obviously you wouldn't see that when you're initially pulling in!). Also, the lot here is very small, so there's often a wait for a pump (and it's a tight squeeze to get into them too). I have never been inside, so I have no idea what the staff is like or if the store itself is clean. Pro though? The trash cans are never overflowing, so it's a safe bet for when you need to clean out the rubbish you've been collecting in your car!

Twice now have I been there during opening hours and the place is shut. Pump say maintenance mode and doors are locked. What is going on with this place?

The "convenience store" is open 8 hours a day now because a month ago all the employees quit simultaneously due to poor management. After a couple weeks I went there once to get a coffee, the coffee was dish water warm, I told the cashier (the only employee visible) the coffee is cold and she said, "Meh" I should have turned around and exited leaving the coffee on the counter. I went back once to get $5 gas and the pumps were not working as normal, had to go in store and pay in advance.

It's clean, but the gas prices are higher than other nearby places, they pay their staff less than MacDonald's does, and sometimes they don't stay open until 11PM (with no warning or explanation). So if you need gas, tobacco products, or a quick snack & a drink and you're right here, by all means stop in. But if you're headed towards SoPo and on a budget, there are gas stations in SoPo that charge less for everything.

Puerto Rican Licence not accepted as an ID to purchase tobacco products even when we are US Citizens. They asked me for my passport. I have to laugh of how uneducated people can be.

I know times are trying currently for people but I've NEVER witnessed such rude and poor customer service as I just did. As I walked in the store another customer made comment to how rude the 3 staff members were. Then standing in line waiting to pay I witnessed 2 of the staff yelling at a customer with one even using profanity because the gentleman could not clearly hear the staff through the plastic barrier. I'm not one to type reviews but this needs to be corrected. There is no excuse for how these employees are acting!!
