There was plenty of parking, and access to the beach was easy.

Nice peaceful beach. The Bean Beach chair lending booth was well stocked. Public restrooms were closed on the Thursday late morning I was there, but there were Port a Loos just around the way.

Beautiful beach, pathways are great for handicap people.
Open all year; 9:00 a.m. to sunset daily unless otherwise posted at the gate. Dogs are not allowed on the beach from April 1st to September 30th but allowed on walking trails. Crescent Beach State Park opened in 1966 and offers bathing in the surf or in the sun at one of Maine's finest beaches. There are picnic tables and grills, a children's playground, and a bathhouse with cold-water showers. The park's signature feature and namesake is a mile-long, crescent-shaped beach ideal for strolling and sunbathing, where relatively warm waters and light surf make swimming and boating a pleasure.
