We visited as part of a cruise to Rockland. My wife was severely repremanded and insulted when she took a photo in the store. She so enjoyed the interior she wanted to share with our family on our return. Totally insulting. Please do not frequent this establishment. Very disappointing.

Items are nice but nothing special regardless not worth the APPAULING behavior of owners , for context every other shop in camden you are greeted at minimum with A “Hi how are you ? Let me know if you need help”, but at Starbird the owners didn’t even acknowledge my presence with eye contact yet they want customers to buy their $115 blanket ??? Also side note: the store was completely empty by competing home decor stores where packed , NOT SHOCKING hahahah , stay away!!

I don't care who you are $55 for a set of seagull hand towels is nuts. Old lady at least nodded and acknowledged my existence. If your house looks like the inside of this store I feel bad for you.

This is my favorite shop in Camden! I live here seasonally and every time I’m in town I always find the most wonderful items in this shop. The owners are wonderful!

I cannot agree more with the horrible reviews. Our daughter-in-law opened a lovely shop close by, so we ventured in to see if we could further support other local businesses. Owners are rude, they ignore you if they can, and the merchandise is unique (you could get it anywhere else and on-line cheaper). I am flabbergasted after reading these reviews they remain in business.

I live in this area part of the year and often have house guests who enjoy visiting and shopping in Camden. We will occasionally stop by Starbird. The two proprietors of this store are so rude that it's laughable. Truly SNL caricatures of the ultimate snobs. I can't imagine ever buying a thing from them. I've gone in just to show people how awful the service is. Amazing how they've stayed in business!

Quickly stopped in this store because it looked somewhat interesting from the street. The only thing unique about Star Bird was the utter lack of customer service. I was the only person in the place and the women behind the counter did not look up or greet me. I looked around for about another 30 seconds before realizing this was just your average home goods store selling overpriced throw pillows and soy candles I can get pretty much anywhere in New England. You would think with all these terrible reviews Star Bird would try to improve customer service and guest experiences? Guess not!

I've visited this store on several occasions, hoping to see an improvement in their service, but my experiences have consistently fallen short. It's evident that there's a need for a perspective shift here from the owners. While the store labels its items as high-end, they often align more closely with cliché nautical home items commonly found in any seaside town. Camden boasts a variety of charming and welcoming shops that I'd recommend exploring instead.

I entered this store yesterday with my husband. Everything appeared to be normal until I went to touch a pillow. The owner (I’m assuming) immediately hobbled over and accused me of trying to find the item online. Genuinely confused, I began leaving the store when he started ridiculing my husband and I. The medically altered woman behind the counter started making rude remarks. I felt as if I was in the twilight zone. Who are these people? What is this place?

I tried to give them no stars but can’t figure out how to do it. The most unwelcome establishment I’ve ever been in. Since day one this has been their business platform. Unless your up for the most rudest experience do not visit.

Totally agree with all the negative reviews. The one consistent .... a one star review! Store opened a half hour later than posted and the owner immediately broke a glass. He told us that's why he hates opening before he is ready! Do yourself and your business a favor and hire someone who wants to be in retail. Clearly you don't.

Asked us what country we were from(we're from here) because we have low IQ's because "he" couldn't articulate that the time piece we looked at had an inner dial and outer dial for two different time zones. Insulting and RUDE!

Walked in the store with a coffee, asked if I could throw it away in a trash bin, and then they just asked me to leave. Terrible service, unkind to customers.

Staff looked at my kids and I like we were way below them. They watched us like we were going to steel everything in sight. Will never go back and if we do we will probably say something not so nice. Don’t go.

Do not shop! Took a photo of a pillow I thought a friend may like, the owner (I guess?) referred to me as an a-hole to colleagues. Loud enough for me the hear clearly. Bizarre retail experience.
