Lots of unique home goods & gifts at a wide range of prices. It's worth having a look - and wander to the back of the store to see the view of the waterfall!

I received a beautiful wooden travel mug as a gift from a friend that was in town for a wedding. After about a month with it I tried to disassemble the sliding lid for cleaning only to discover that the top and bottom parts were (supposed to be) permanently glued together. Not knowing what else to do I called them to see if I could get a replacement. After a callback from the owner I was told that they had reached out to the manufacturer and that a replacement was being sent free of charge. Can't thank them enough for doing this as I my collection of lid-less travel mugs is already taking up too much space in my kitchen. It's nice to see that there are still businesses that take an interest in providing genuine concern for their customer's satisfaction.

Liz, the owner is amazing! I was visiting from the Midwest and absolutely fell in love with a few pieces. I knew I had a space in my kitchen that needed some decor and I was able to send her pictures when I got home with measurements. She worked with me from the shop, measuring items and arranging them in photos so I could imagine them in my space. In the end, I chose five beautiful pieces, some very large, and she shipped them to me without any breakage! Very well packaged and fast shipping. Thank you Liz and staff!I highly recommend a visit to this store, even if you can’t bring the big things home with you the shipping is seamless. We will be back on our next visit to Maine.

So, here's the thing. Well, two things. First, you could not possibly find nicer shop owners. That matters to me. Second, you could not possibly find cooler stuff anywhere else on the Midcoast. Why shouldn't everything be as beautiful (or funky or just clever) as it is useful? And do all items have to be useful? What I mean is that a person could buy a big bowl from a big store, or one could buy a big oyster bowl from Once A Tree. It may cost a bit more (not always, though) but I'd rather have a few unique, lovely things than many common, mass-produced things. If you think along the same lines, you must check out this shop.

Terrible customer service. I purchased a $145.00 stone wine dispenser took it and first time I used it the wine leaked out of the bottom. I tried to return the product and was told I must have dropped it. Stay away!!!!!!!

Very sad we were asked to leave the store because our son is unable to wear a mask due to health reasons. We as the parents had ours on out of respect for the store and are able. Sad that you have lost our business and will be sure to tell others.
