I have gone to Jessie H for a few years now. She is personable and professional. Most importantly, my hair is the best it has ever looked. I get compliments all the time. Jessie is a hair goddess. 10000/10 recommend.

Made an appointment with them over a week ago for October 2nd. It approved and I show up to my appointment that day. Well they tell me oh the girl that’s doing your hair isn’t here sorry. I’m like what? No that’s not acceptable why wouldn’t you call me? They said oh we did… I checked my call log and voicemail no call at all. I showed them. They looked me dead in the face and said they did and she said “ I don’t know what’s wrong with your phone but we called completely rude. Mind you I have been here several times before a d know when they call it shows up as Mia Bella and it never did. I was floored! I couldn’t believe she actually responded to me that way. Then she started getting loud and aggressive when I asked why I didn’t get a voice mail like they said. I told her please don’t speak to me that way. They never really apologized....One woman was on her phone just standing there not doing anything watching them berate me. NEVER go here!!!! The owner is literal gross to people and was arguing with me like a child instead of trying to mediate and help the situation! She kept saying I dont know what's going on! Complete lack of responsibility. As a business youre supposed to help the clients not just side with your employees mistake. That doesn't even make sense... That makes you look bad. Train them better instead of blaming your incompetence out on clients who did nothing wrong. Thats how you lose business.woman at the front had my name with a cross in it. They were just expecting me to not show up? guarantee they would've charged me if I didn't. Just remember if you book an appointment here that they will cancel on you any time if they feel like it and not even call you. Also they will lie about it so before booking at this place keep that in mind just my experience. Edit: They actually called the police on me because I called them liars and left them a bad review. Saying I cant come back! Lmao why would I ever go back? I cant believe how I was treated here.

Jessica is amazing. Really listens to what you’d like; asks a few questions. Then a brilliant haircut follows. Back home my wife said it’s one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten anywhere. Worth a 40’ drive! So I set up another appointment and my wife plans to drive up there too. We are seasonal (5 months) residents of Maine but I think I’ve found the best salon and stylist on the Midcoast.

Terrific Talent here. It’s wiser to say what you want and what you can spend comfortably…. Before they start.
I left with a “haircut” when I believed I had scheduled a “shaping”/trim for the $45 as listed.
When asked what are we doing today - I mentioned an upcoming event & how my hair grew quickly when I should have been specific: “$45 shaping trim” …if I had only known…..
On checkout - when she asked for $60 I choked and sputtered….for a shaping???? “No no what I gave you is a cut”. And she asked if she should add “anything” on the credit card above the $60….
I could only offer a $5 cash, which she seemed reluctant to keep- but did when I shook my head.

They were very nice! The issue was our eyebrows. My friend and I went in for a wax and I got my eyebrows tinted. I left with 2 different shaped brows, and they barely looked darker than normal the following day. My friend has much darker brows than me and she also had to pluck several hairs. She hated the shape and when she asked for them to pluck the hairs she saw, they said her hair was too short to get. It would be easier if she just did it herself. Needless to say she has to schedule another appointment with a different salon to now fix her brows. (Also the bed they had us in was covered in dog hair)

I had the best pedicure and manicure today that I’ve ever had! Sam was amazing! She was patient with my indecisiveness about color choice and my feet and hands were very appreciative of her massage experience! I left so relaxed and my French manicure is honestly the best! This was my first visit and Marlie listened carefully to my haircut request. We talked about future plans for my hair and ways to work on healthy hair moving forward. I also really like the laid back atmosphere and relations I experienced with all the women working there. They seem to have a great crew. I look forward to making a next appointment with Marlie for color plans! Thank you!
