In all seriousness, if you're seeking the warm hospitality of the South and the unique charm of the Maine coast, this is the ideal location.
The location is perfectly situated steps from downtown and the harbor areas. Everything is within a 15-minute walk. Most are 5 -7mins away. Great restaurants nearby. AMAZING tours of the bay by sailing ships, aka schooners. Perfect base to explore so many other small towns and the incredible foliage.
An absolutely gorgeous B&B, with perhaps the most engaging and charming host, Kim. Everything that we experienced was done with the utmost attention to the personal touch. The rooms are excellent, both spacious and comfortable. Copious amounts of detail and charm at every turn within the house. The guests are treated more like family and friends.
I could write much more; however, the p point is that of the many locations that I've visited, this is a top 5 in my guide.
Please stop and visit for the most spectacular stay.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely one-night stay at the Belmont Inn. The common spaces and gardens were gorgeous, the innkeeper and staff were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location was perfect for exploring Camden - walking distance to all the main attractions. The rooms were modest - small, limited outlets, thin mattress, and noisy bed frame. I’d recommend asking for extra pillows or bringing your own. Also, the house is extremely quiet at night - we felt like we had to whisper and tip toe so as not to wake other guests. We ended up putting on white noise to break the silence a bit. That said, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking a quaint, quiet getaway.

I just can’t say enough good things about this place, but I will try. First of all, it is beautiful. The suite my boyfriend & I stayed in, which was the governor davis suite, was quaint but beautifully decorated& tidied, as was the common space. Kim was so hospitable, & when we asked her for restaurant recommendations, she really pointed us to some delicious places. When we weren’t eating out, she made breakfast and this coconut cinnamon bread that deserves 5 stars unto itself. The inn was located maybe a block or two away from the town square, which was very busy & lined with shops, restaurants, & grocery stores. About a 10 minute drive away is mount Battie, at the top of which is a breathtaking view of Penobscot bay. Kim told us sometimes people had picnics up there and I wish i would have gotten to do that. It was beautiful. We couldn’t have had a better time. 10/10 ✨

We stayed one night at the Belmont Inn in May 2024, but wish we could have stayed many more. It's very close to the center of Camden, and aspects of the B&B are lovely. We had a large and comfortable bedroom and a wonderful breakfast. Our host was friendly and warm and made our stay great. I highly recommend the Belmont Inn.

We were lucky enough to spend our anniversary here. Kim gave us an incredible experience. We were able to keep the room warm with the air system, and the fires isln the common areas were charming. Don't miss out on the gourmet breakfast. It is a very lovely place. Like any old house, there will be some creaks and groans but still a very pleasant stay.

The Belmont Inn is a lovely place to spend your time. It is off of the busy Highway 1, yet close enough to walk downtown. The inside is elegant with lots of comfy furniture. Breakfast is provided and it is top notch. There is a wrap-around porch with hundreds of flowers to gaze at. The proprietor, Kim, makes you feel welcome and at ease. The house also has lots of history. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.A quick word of warning: there is no swimming pool or other kids activities. Not all rooms have televisions.Nearby activities: You must take a ride on the schooner, Appledore 2. It's a two hour tour which takes you about four miles out into the harbor.Safety: I certainly don't feel this safe in my hometown of Chicago.Walkability: Quick walk to the downtown area.Food & drinks: Great sea food.

We had a wonderful stay at the Belmont Inn The property is impeccable, the welcome was warm and inviting and, the breakfast was scrumptious. Our room was tastefully furnished and made us feel like home. The bed was very comfortable too. The location is a block away from downtown Camden so it's very convenient. Kim made wonderful suggestions for dining and exploring. I highly recommend this location!
