Professional, courteous, and customer focused pretty much wraps up the Calais dead river team. Nothing but good things to say, 100% recommend any customer to them.

Service at Dead River in Calais is a 10 out of 10. It starts with the management and goes right through the office staff and service team. They are friendly, professional and prompt. Highly recommend.

We have been customers of Dead River for years and never had any problems with them until lately. Back in August I called to make an appointment to have a propane tank delivered for our Generac Generator. I was given a date of November which I was okay with. That date came and a no show. I called and was told they had an emergency, okay lets make another appointment, made the next appointment for two weeks later. two weeks later no show, I called again and yet another emergency. We are now into December made another appointment another no show. You would think out of common courtesy the office would call and inform you of the so called emergencies. Finally last week Dead River showed up the propane tanks were delivered. The cost of two empty propane tanks were over $800.00. I knew it was going to be costly but didn't realize the tanks were going to be empty. I called and asked when they could deliver the propane. I was given a date of Tuesday January 18, 2022. Guess what NO SHOW! I called the office yet again and was told we had other emergencies and won't be able to deliver until Friday January 21, 2022. By this time I am outraged with this company. I call The Cooperate Office in Portland, Maine to complain. I get transferred to the Calais Office. I left a message for someone to call me back as of today NO ONE has called. If I hadn't invested so much money already I would take my business elsewhere. I don't ever talk bad about anyone, but this is uncalled for, and just want people to be aware of what can happen. People work and when they sit here waiting for the delivery and no one show up. I would think a courtesy call would go a long way.
