I just switched over to Waltz and Sons and asked them to come do a safety cathodic protection inspection for my 18 year old underground tank. They did a great job, recommended a new regulator and installed it which I was glad to do as the original one was old and had some water damage. I now rest easy knowing my system is safe! What a great family owned company, they even gave Goldie a new dog toy! Thank you to Robert Morton who did the work.

After my previous propane company dropped the ball the team at Waltz & Sons didn't hesitate in taking care of my propane needs. From Derek coming out to quote the job they sent Kyle and Ryan which were prepared to get all aspects of the installation done. Tanks filled the same day totally impressed with Waltz & Sons highly recommend.

We just installed a generator, and the company we had contacted for propane on the day of the installation simply didn't show up - despite our being told that the propane would be delivered "first thing in the morning." They supposedly had an emergency. (See below about how fast they returned my call when I cancelled their service.)I contacted Waltz in a panic and, once they ascertained that we owned our tanks, they were able to get to us the same day and within a few hours and, after ensuring that everything was as it should be with our tanks, filled the tanks.I want to add that - as opposed to the former company, who did not respond to my emergency call inquiring as to where they were and ONLY called me back when I left a message saying they were no longer needed (and they called back seven minutes after *that* message) - each and every time I called Waltz & Sons the calls were answered promptly and courteously and my questions answered.Although I didn't appreciate the former company's "let them eat cake" and "we'll get back to you when it suits us" attitude, I consider that now that we are customers of Waltz & Sons, everything DEFINITELY ended up all for the best!I should add that the people who provided and installed our generator said that they have had a number of dealings with Waltz & Sons and recommended them highly. In addition, months before, I had compared prices for about six propane companies with Waltz coming in as the second least expensive and the company that never showed being least expensive, so paying a TINY BIT more to actually deal with a competent and efficient company that shows up has turned out to be well worth it.

This company has been great. They have been easy to work with, their techs are courteous and my dogs love the dog toys they gave them. 5 stars!

I've spent about 6 months calling a long list of heating contractors and propane providers, many of whom arrived to estimate a quote, but only Waltz kept in touch and finally showed up to perform the job. I understand how backed out everyone is these days but I really respect Waltz for sticking with things and making sure I got the work I needed, even if it took forever and didn't go quite to plan at times.Waltz's employees were friendly, helpful, and informative, easily went the extra mile when they had to. Their trucks look great as does their website, not to mention competitive pricing on a tankless water heater- They were recommended to me by 2 different "industry insiders" and now I know why. Thank you again!

Received 5 star service on a new tank installation. The techs were friendly and professional. They were made sure everything was tested, safe and set up to code. Booking the appointment was fast and efficient.

Came through huge for us when our G.C. told us at the last minute we needed to install a propane line. Everyone I've interacted with has been extremely helpful and professional. Good propane pricing. And the office dog is very nice.

Our electric stove died on us this past week. We wanted to convert to gas, but needed line run quickly. Waltz could not get us in until end of May, but gave us a contact who was able to do it on Monday. Great service.

Usually are good, unfortunately this time not so much. I paid a $195 fee (parts were extra) to install a ventless propane fireplace unit to replace the old unit that wasn't working. I had already removed the old unit cleaned the fireplace so all they would have to do is connect the existing propane line and setup the unit. When they got here, I handed them the install manual, which they didn't even look at, I figured they knew what they were doing. they took about 4o minutes. When they left, I was showing my wife how it worked and noticed that the unit was sliding when turning the control knob. So, I went to the installation instructions and saw it was supposed to be screwed to the floor. I ended up taking it apart and screwing to the floor myself. The thing that I am not happy about is when I got the $256 bill, I sent a reply email stating that the install was never completed correctly. I have received NO response back from them. Not what I would call good customer satisfaction.

We are so grateful for this Company! They know what they’re doing and absolutely CRUSH customer service!!! We were going down the path with a competitor who in 2 months could not accomplish what Waltz did in 24 hours. We’ve talked to a few different people there and they are all the same - clearly care about their customers, knowledgeable about what they do, and motivated to find solutions… Jamie even offered to drive a part out to our site if one of their delivery trucks couldn’t make it! I seriously can’t say enough good about them. They are truly wonderful!

Moved to Gorham two yrs ago though I have been with associatesd with USM Athletics for 30 yrs. I try to use services and buy products from local businesses whenever I can. The house I bought had Dodge propane so I stayed with them because they were in my community. That was a mistake. In a word, Dodgy... Dodgy delivery, dodgy service. Letting me run out of propane for the 2nd time in 2 years when I called to order delivery 3 days before their Gorham delivery runs was the final straw. I was out of fuel, So after a recommendation from my head coach, for Waltz & Sons, I called. I got better customer service care from Brenda and Jess in 15 minutes than 2 yrs from "that other company that shall not be named anymore". They had me signed up and ready to swap out tanks that afternoon. Their service techs had everything swapped out, tested and running inside a half hour of arriving and we had HEAT! I am looking fwd to my relationship with Waltz & Sond for as long as I am in Gorham.
