First, I know and like a lot of the people who work at this location.But I take issue with the Self Checkout and the senior staff that are either not around or too busy engaged in personal conversations to reset a self checkout situation that arises from an alcohol purchase, wrong item issue, unknown item, or any other one of a dozen reasons the overhead light flashes causing my purchase to halt and I have to go find someone to correct things cuz they've got the keys to the kingdom.I will say, honestly, I've been stuck at Self Checkout at the Cooks Corner location no less than 12 times with either no visible staff available or two or more clowns chatting at their podium unaware or, in one case, seeing me but finishing up a conversation before taking the time to do their job half a minute later.One day ago, I was checking out and a lady who'd been patiently waiting for someone to show up while I was waiting for my turn, actually had to walk away from the position she was checking out from, walk to the store office to get an employee to reset things so she could check out.I thought Hannaford was going to be more convenient being a few less traffic lights to travel to Shaw's.I'll travel the extra traffic lights from now on.At least at Shaw's I get a person to ring me up without having to wait for automated corrections.

Very friendly cashiers and checkout baggers. Very clean store. Prices are less expensive than Shaws for the same brand.

There is an employee there that claims it is "his Hannaford." Glasses, young, and very arrogant. Apparently he didn't like my speed in the parking lot and approached it in a very inappropriate way. I think it's funny He thinks he owns Hannaford and refers to it as mine. He must be fun to work with. Considering what I spend there in a week he needs to learn how to talk to a customer. I'm in customer service and would never talk to or approach my customers like that ever.

Best Hannaford in the area as far as layout. Steak quality is questionable. Chicken ect is always good. Go somewhere else for steaks 5 or 8 employees let people buy a bad cut.

This store is always so poorly staffed. The pharmacy isn't even open on the weekends anymore. Produce is low quality and everything is so much more expensive than the Shaws or Walmart nearby.

Please maintenance the shopping carts more often, they are so loud and rattling while trying to push them around the store. Maybe instal a cover over the area where the carts are placed outside so that are out of the rain?

While most casiers here are pleasant, the fact that they have the customer service desk closed at 5pm on a Friday in July tells me that they don't really care about customers

Live lobster is only $8.99 per pound, $3 cheaper per pound than Shaws. Back home, in Maryland, its $20-25 per pound.

I love this Hannaford! The snoxfox sushi is out of this world amazing, and the sushi chefs are so nice!Hannafords always has great produce and good deals. I just wish their deli would bring back the blackberry pistachio salad- literally the best salad ever!

Always busy, mostly friendly staff. Most of the time, they have what I'm looking for. I'd say pricey, but everywhere is these days.

This is specifically for the Deli Department at the Gurnette Road location. I went to the Deli to get some thin sliced turkey. Purchasing presliced has become expensive because it is sliced way to thick. 1/2 pound is about 5 slices. So I thought I would have it sliced instead of the usual "grab n' go". The woman behind the counter looked at me like I had 3 heads. I asked for what I wanted and she didn't speak English. She went to the front of the case and pointed to the pre sliced items making noises like she was confused. I said, I don't want that, I want it sliced. She went back to the case, pointed and spoke in another language. I repeated myself. She went back behind the counter and ignored me. I walked away VERY upset. This is not ok. If you cannot speak English, you should not have a position dealing directly with the public!
