As of tonight, I think I'm done with big apple.. I've been a customer at the pleasant street store for years.. Tonight I went in to buy a pack of smokes.. The young lady carded me and I joked about being older than her. Because I am by a lot... Show her my I d still chuckling... And she demanded that I give her my I d so they could scan it.... No... I will not give over my personal data to a Cheap corner store. You don't need to Have it And don't try to pretend you're not harvesting data. Just because a law says you're not allowed to doesn't mean you're actually deleting anything. Most of the other places in the area don't bother to try. Well done losing a long term customer.

This place needs to get its policy straight. If pay later is an option for fuel then it needs to be equal. Train your tellers on discrimination, I’m sick of explaining to them that they can’t look out the window and decide whether they’re going to turn the pump on based upon how one looks. Years, and how many tellers have acted this way. I’m tired of it and letting the boss know. If theft is that big of a problem then DONT OFFER IT. That I would understand. So, I would have to recommend any of the other gas stations on this st but this one. Today when I came in and kindly asked if I could get some fuel. The response was “are you going to pay for it”. I’m sorry but I’ll take my money somewhere else from now on.

Hwy 1 in Maine is a great route for exploring the state and trying various lobster rolls, ice cream, whoopie pies, and other Maine cuisine. All road trips include a gas station stop, and for us, this was it.Big Apple is a typical convenience store and gas station. The store has sales and specials, mostly "2 for" a certain price. I bought two Vitamin Waters for $3 when one Vitamin Water alone was $3.09. I'm glad the clerk let me grab another one without having to wait in line again.I was disappointed that the store doesn't have a soft drink/soda fountain. They do have plenty of bottled drinks, including beer, wine, and even liquor.

Open, not open, we'll maybe open, could be open, not sure just yet. What kind of business is this? Pay your employees and maybe you'll get better employees

You work in the customer service industry, there’s no need to have attitude just because you have to complete a few extra steps at check out. I just wanted to utilize my Shell rewards.

Great place to get gas and goods. Very clean store and very friendly workers. Also great place to get a fresh, hot cup of coffee.

The cashier that I have had interactions with here is not friendly at all. Tried to get help understanding the shell fuel rewards, said she doesn't know how it worked. The least they could do is give you a smile and be friendly. Disappointing.

The employees stocking shelves reeked of cigarette smoke and the cashier could care less. Didn't even ask how you were or told you to have a good day. Would not go back the that store if my life depended on it
