About WoodenBoat School
WoodenBoat School is a magical place for an adult summer camp experience. It is the place to come to learn sailing arts or woodworking and boatbuilding skills. Those who dream of building or sailing a wooden boat should spend time there. The grounds have a good store, plenty of parking, and shops to see. It provides a great and amazing experience, with accommodating instructors. It is an eye-opening treat for students and visitors alike.

Like Boy Scout camp with beer. 😂. Actually if you have ever dreamed about building or sailing a wooden boat you HAVE to spend a couple of weeks at the WBS. Great experience!!!

I had an amazing and eye opening experience with “introduction to model boat building “ taught by Rueben Brown. He was very accommodating in assisting me due to poor vision. Perhaps a tutorial video would be helpful as reading plans is now almost impossible. Just a thought.
