A small wholesome store. They did not have the sugary unhealthy, mass produced cereal I wanted, but that does not earn them any less of a rating, because what they do have is what the area seems to thrive on.

New owners are wonderful and have been hearing good things from others as well. Stopped in for some fresh breakfast sandwiches (sausage, egg, and cheese), a drink, coffee, and a few other goodies.Well stocked staples, plenty of alcohol, and definitely with a visit. Can’t wait to come back.

This place is great with the new owners. Like the other owners as well. However sometimes it's good for a change. The customer service is absolutely great. They didn't carry an item that I needed. I talked to the owner and an employee in the item is now there. Also the food is great period I highly recommend

We are very excited about the new ownership! The new owners will take a wonderful local store and are making it even better. We have been there several times - we love the pastries, the breakfast sandwiches are delicious, and the cappuccino is delightful. The egg cartons are better than any local grocery store in the region. Today we bought chicken cutlets and they were the best we ever had. The owners have an eye for quality and our dedicated to fostering a reliable high quality neighborhood resource.

New ownership, revised review. Seems decent so far but the breakfast sandwiches are absolutely terrible. Used to buy one every day but the quality has gone straight downhill. Literally a yellow brick of "egg" for $5. Gross.

We love the general store. They just let my kids in as they were closing to get s’more supplies. Our family has been coming to this town for over 100 yrs. And supporting a local store is top priority

I just stopped in at 4:55 pm on 9-8 to find the door locked. The closing time posted on the door is 5:30. The young man inside knew there were customers but turned out the lights rather than let us in.

Prices don't appear on a lot of items. When asked why that was, I received a snarky remark from a young male of maybe high school age behind the counter: "some establishments cater to rich folks and rich folks don't care about prices."...really? So why are you in business again when your hottest selling item is beer that flies off the shelve after 5pm (which, by the way, has no pricing either)? Everyone should have the right to know what something costs. Whether you care to look at pricing or not, that's your business and a good business practice.
