A small museum next to the lighthouse. It is informative, but a bit of a jumble. Artifacts, documents, and photographs have been collected over the years that give you a good idea of how the lobster industry functioned. I am concerned that the long-term preservation of the items is in danger because of the storage conditions and the weather.

This is a very small museum with donated items related to fishing in the Maine region. It offers a unique look at everything fishing, crabbing, or lobstering related. If you're out this way, why not?

We visited outside of operation dates, however it was still well worth the time. Stunning views, history, and plenty of space for visitors. Take a lunch and enjoy!

WOW! So many artifacts on display. You could spend hours here if you really wanted to. My favorite was the whale vertebrae! There are also binders of really cool old documents - some of the pricing in them is WILD. The people hosting the museum are very knowledgeable and passionate. Definitely worth a stop if you're touring the lighthouse!
