“I love the huge selection of books, knick knacks and clothes. Reasonably priced and every day offers a different colored tag that gives you a discount. By far my favorite Goodwill store!”

“Store is very clean. A portion of the proceeds from every sale go to a charity that was specified when goods were donated. If no specific charity was designated, a portion of the sale proceeds gets sent to all charities. Certain colors have specific percentages off on a daily basis ranging from free, to then 75 - 90% off. There is a corner labeled clearance, but I found if you pick an item up from there that is not one of the designated colors of the day, it's not really on clearance. They have books, toys, clothes, dishes, glassware, kitchenware.... great to know where some of your purchase price money is going, and I'll definitely be donating!”

“Cute little store. Very covid concious, so do wear a mask. If you enjoy thrifting like me, perhaps you will find some things worth your while in the here. Found some great things while in here, things that would normally have cost us like $60, but of course we only spent like $8. Staff is friendly and I would come here again if I'm ever back in Orono. (Check out my review for the hotel and restaurant we visited in Bangor for our trip to Orono.)”

“I like the place just fine, I just wish they had dressing rooms so I could actually buy pants and know that they fit before I get home to find out they don't fit right!!”

“Love it whenever I'm in bangor, please support them, I've been to some of there places they really do feed the hungry and help the less fortunate, don't mind the billionaire ceo's,,, the people who do the football work have a compassion for people, ever been homeless in the winter, lose a job and a place to live, maybe a flood or fire. Maybe an addition, (no judgment) salvation army's been helping people sincerely forever so if you don't find anything you like, drop a $buck or two anyway, you will be helping someone locally, trust me, it helps especially now in winter. When all the once a year do gooders already gave for the Hollidays, Don't hate they gave and someone eat that day, but they're still hungry (a dare) drop in drop a buck or two and leave, I will bet, you'll feel really good. and someone will feel good after they have a hot meal, pass it on”

“What a great store and such wonderful staff. In the past I bought an electric oven for less than $50.00 and to this day it still is in great working condition. Yesterday I called to see if there were any clothes dryer available for purchase. The clerk there told me there was one coming in Thursday 11/9 then she called back and told me she was doing a run Wednesday 11/8 instead and it should be in the shop between 12p.m.-1p.m. I appreciated that call back and concern of getting our family a dryer at a decent price!!!”

“This store is clean and smells good. Most thirst shops smell rotten but I was glad that it was refreshing inside the store. The atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming. I asked one of the worker’s a question and she was very polite and helpful. She gave me more information than I needed so I understood what I wanted. The donation center is quick and easy, you drop your stuff in a cubby and they bring it inside. The hours are till 5pm for weekdays, I don’t remember the weekend. You can call, I’m sure they would be delighted to answer your questions.”
