I just saw texts from a woman i know on Facebook of how she was treated by this company and its monopolizing illegal and disturbing. Shaming someone for searching for cheaper oil in this economy is INSANE. And then to stop providing service because she was looking for a cheaper option? Absolutely cruel and the texts were after hours and super unprofessional.

New store. Already the inconvenience of not getting a receipt see store is annoying. Fill your damn pump with paper. Car wash overpriced at 12.00. You already have turned off the water blast as you enter! Why? I won’t be back. Better at washville.

I have been a customer of CN Brown for over 3 years. I know they deliver to my area on Thursdays and have never had a problem with that. Today we checked our gauge and saw it was on dead empty. I called them at 8:03 AM and asked if they could fill our tank today. They put me on hold for a couple of minutes and came back and told me they couldn't squeeze us in.They will no longer have that problem with us. I found another dealer in Holden who was more than willing to take us on as a customer.

I had called Thursday, 11/21/19, requesting a fuel delivery to my home to FILL my outside tank with kerosene and was told they would deliver the fill Friday, 11/22/19. CN Brown did come on the date they stated, putting 105 gallons of kerosene in my tank. I assumed this filled the tank, per my request when I called. Friday when I got home from work my heat and hot water was not working at all. Since I had just gotten a "fill" I assumed there was an issue with my furnace so I spent all weekend making calls to everyone in the area asking if they could service my furnace, since CN Brown does not. My family (including my son and our animals) went without heat all weekend until we were able to connect with a furnace repair company. I ended up having an emergency weekend service call on Sunday, 11/24/19, costing me $340+ for them to tell me nothing was wrong with my furnace AT ALL. After they checked my tank, we discovered CN Brown did NOT fill as I had asked. They only put 105 gallons in 258 gallon tank causing the furnace not to kick on as it should have. Now I have a $340+ unnecessary bill to this furnace repair company (during the holidays, mind you) simply because CN Brown refused to communicate that they were unable to fill the tank, for whatever reason. My tank is in great condition and I faithfully have paid all of my bills with CN Brown on time since I've been a customer with them. Repeated messages with the Brewer office regarding this issue have gone unanswered. The customer service with this company is horrible. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

As a faithful customer since 2012 it really ripped me a new a** when I discovered they charge a $100 fee to deliver on a off-route day. Charging such a high fee to deliver an absolute necessity to a parent of 2 small children in the middle of winter is disgusting and we will absolutely be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

Thought we would use a local company with comeptive prices, learned that CnBrown is not the local company you want to support. Tried ordering oil from them 3 times. All 3 times they were late to deliver even though times had been set up in advance. This last delivery was supposed to happen Dec. 8th. They never showed. When we called to ask where they were, they said they were done for the week and they’d be here Dec. 11th. Here it is the 11th, and we are now being told they can “possibly” get to us by Friday Dec. 15th; we’ve since found another company to fill our tank since these fools don’t care and can’t follow a schedual to save their lives. Crappy service and worse customer service. You’re better off choosing someone else for your heating oil needs. Company is a joke.

I want to say that CN Brown went above and beyond in customer service. I forgot to check my tank and when I did we were on empty. I called them to see about a delivery for the following Monday (that's when they deliver to Hermon.) Unfortunately, I forgot that Monday was Memorial day and they wouldn't be delivering to our area on that day. But, because we were on empty, they arranged to have one of their drivers on his route for Wednesday, stop and make a delivery to our home. It is very much appreciated that they went above and beyond to make sure we didn't run out of oil. Thank you so much. I will recommend you to everyone I know, simply because you understand good customer service. Thank you again for all your help.
