From Maine Forest and Logging Museum

We are an event-based museum. Our collections and demonstrations are available during events. Between our regular annual events, the best opportunity to see what we do is on Tuesdays. Volunteers work on site Tuesdays (9-ish to 1-ish) and buildings can be opened upon request. When the buildings are closed, it's still a pretty place to walk around, especially when the leaves are turning in the fall. The beautiful Museum grounds and trails are open every day during daylight hours for walking and exploring. Created to celebrate the history of woods work in Maine, the Maine Forest and Logging Museum, aka Leonard's Mills, portrays an early logging village. Check the website for more info and photography policy.
