I am so thankful that this salon answered my call. My husband and I are traveling in our rv for 2 months. It's a beautiful salon and the best shampoo and haircut from Heidi...great people. Clean and conscientious about the virus. I felt safe. I wore my face mask the entire time:-)

I’m a little late on this review seeing how life gets a little hectic, but I got married out of state in Southport Maine in June of 2019, I had Bonnie and one of her coworkers do hair for my wedding! Being a Salon owner myself I was skeptical of someone else doing my hair for the big day but I’m glad I chose Bonnie! I just wanted nothing to do with hair that day!! Thanks again for helping on my special day!

Bonnie is the best! My wedding stylist called out sick 45 minutes before my appointment so we called Bonnie in to cover - she was there ASAP, cool as a cucumber. She did beautiful work, checked in with me frequently to make sure I liked it, and made all the adjustments I asked for. Bonnie has years of experience and gave me a gorgeous style for my big day - I will always be grateful to her for saving the day!

A Cut Above in Boothbay is a privately owned business. There are two stylists, beautiful shop, excellent service and they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I would recommend this beauty shop to anyone

Heidi from Bonnie's A Cut Above was the stylist for my four bridesmaids and me for my October wedding. I showed Heidi a few pictures from Pinterest at my trial and we worked through a couple different variations together before choosing the one that would work best on wedding day. The day of the wedding, she remembered everything we had talked about and executed the style perfectly. She was so easygoing and offered suggestions to a couple bridesmaids who weren't sure what to do with their hair. My hair stayed in place even though it was a little damp outside and I did a LOT of dancing around!
