Pharmacy is severely understaffed. Tried to call in a prescription and put on hold for 10 minutes. Ended up hanging up and having my doctor's office call it in.
This is summer in Boothbay. Walgreens management needs to get a clue.

Thought I would put out a newer review since they were not the best. I'm vacationing for 2 months and ran out of some meds. They were called in by my doctor and filled right away after I updated my account with correct insurance information. Had no issues. New staff? Probably.

On vacation in Boothbay and went in to Walgreens along our way. Large parking lot. Walked in and grabbed a shopping cart, cashier at checkout said hello to me. Very clean, and quite a large store. I found the things I was looking for, the store appeared well stocked and organized. Walked up to checkout and was greeted by a friendly young man, and on my way in a timely fashion. ABSOLUTELY the worst pharmacy experience!!! More than half of the time they don’t have my fathers prescriptions or they lose them. Currently I have been on hold for 1 1/2 hours trying to find out if a perspiration has been filled.

Elsie the pharmacy manager was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to getting a tetanus shot after a little rusty mishap on the job. She helped me navigate the easiest way to get workman’s comp, was super sweet about me being there late (yeah I was that j*** who came in 20 minutes before close), AND she was great with a needle!Give Elsie a raise.

The pharmacy is the worst one that I have ever encountered. When you call, you are put on hold and they will never get back you and finally the calls get disconnected. The worst customer service of all time.Super slow and irresponsible

Wow, worst experience I have EVER had with a pharmacy. First, got there on Friday at 7:05 pm and pharmacy was closed. Ok, missed it by 5 minutes. Hand written note was taped to the window that they would be closed all day the following Saturday with no reason given. Website said they would be open Sunday 10-2? Called to confirm and after waiting on hold for over 30 minutes with one person ahead of me allegedly, a man finally picked up the phone. They were out of stock and maybe would have it after 4 on Tuesday? Give me a break.

I visited this Walgreens over Memorial Day Weekend because I needed some cold medicine. The pharmacy was a breeze and they were very friendly and helpful. We were able to pay for everything at the pharmacy which was nice. I usually don't use public restrooms but did this time around. The restroom was clean and well stocked. I was surprised to see (for the first time ever) that Walgreens sells alcohol! I visited this Walgreens again the second day because I forgot to buy cough drops. The line moved quickly but I did noticed that there were no self checkout kiosks like most Walgreens has. Overall, I really liked this Walgreens. The people were so incredibly friendly here!
