LOVE tulu and their staff. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I get my color done by Jamie everytime and she never disappoints. Going in a week to get some touch ups and I am so excited! 10/10 would recommend!!

Gender discrimination. My male friend with the EXACT same haircut as me gets charged $40 while I got quoted $88 from the same stylist/owner. More than DOUBLE. Two friends of mine recommended Terra - they were both appalled with how much I got quoted and informed me they will no longer be going there.
I can't believe in 2024 people can get away with charging based on your gender.

I recently moved to Biddeford, and am fairly picky about my hair since I have wavy thick hair. I saw Sarah's profile on their site and thought she would do a great job, and WOW she really did! I felt heard throughout my appointment about what I wanted done, and she found the exact right color and cut that worked for me. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend this salon to anyone!

I'm new to the area and had a bad experience with another salon. Julie explained to me how she would fix my cut and did an amazing job! I'm so happy to get my hair cut by someone that has the knowledge, skills, and experience to layer my hair the way I like it! This was a great experience! Thank you Julie!

I had my hair cut by Terra. She cut my hair 3-5 inches shorter than I asked for. I actually put a pen mark about 3 inches below my clavicle to show her where I wanted my hair cut. she cut 3 inches above my pen mark. She also cut about 6 inches off my back of hair. She never asked me if I wanted to go short in the back. Overall I felt the staff to be gruff and I felt Terra really wasn’t interested in hearing what I wanted. She appeared tired and rushed. I would never go back or recommend.

I wish I could remember the stylist's name. I asked for a specific cut and she said my hair wouldn't do that. It's a cut I'd had done before. I asked her what she could do, and she suggested a bob, which is the one haircut I cannot stand. Then she said we had to hurry up and decide because we were running out of time. I said just thin it out so my hair isn't so heavy. She didn't speak to me again until I finally initiated conversation like five minutes later. We talked about my hair again, and she told me what I could and couldn't do, but none of it was accurate. I've tried many styles on my hair, and when I explained how my hair actually behaved, she argued with me! When I got home, I took a closer look at my hair, and she had given me exactly two layers, straight across, and my hair was still really thick. I wish I had left the chair as soon as she told me I couldn't have a cut that I'd had before. That was on me.Service: Haircut

I scheduled my first visit with Tulu Salon &Spa at the recommendation of a friend. I was looking for a colorist that could bring me back to the pale blonde I was (prior to COVID). My appointment was with Jamie. She listened to my concerns and was able to deliver. The color came out perfect! I am so happy with the results! Serenity did my wash and styling and she did a wonderful job. The salon is bright and airy, the staff was friendly and engaging. I am happy to have found Tulu and my new home salon. I read a few reviews on Yelp that commented on the cost. I will say that these opinions are certainly subjective. I found the cost to be very reasonable - especially with a Master Colorist. I would recommend Tulu without hesitation.

I had a facial by Amy today. THE BEST facial I've ever had, bar none. She is gifted. I wish every new mom, cancer patient, patients recovering from illness, etc could have an 'Amy Facial'. She has healing hands.
