Went for an after work beer. Grabbed a Stella. Turned to pay and to my surprise caught the blonde old lady at the register eyeballing me from behind the counter to see if I was stealing. So no star if you're not fair skinned people.

After my wife worked for all three brothers at the Portland store, she had to find out from a co-worker that the owner (Peter) had sold the store and told nobody about it. She got a call from an upset co-employee and found out she no longer had a job! Apparently the new owners had initially planned to keep the current employees and then changed their mind and fired everyone instead keeping only family. affecting the livelihood of ALL employees at the Portland store and not taking any calls as far as money owned. I found the other 2 brothers to be honest and friendly to my wife but Peter the owner is a coward!

Been going here for almost two years and tried to go in yesterday and they wouldn't even sell me smokes (but they did two weeks ago.) The owners are real asshats and they aren't getting my buisness again.

Best variety store in town. Lowest prices in this area on everything! Great freindly staff. What more could one ask for. Only thing that can be a challenge is parking. There are only a few spots in and around the store.
