Went into the Alfred St. Biddeford store on 4/17/24 @7:30pm to trade some items in for cash in hand. Was told that there was no money in the cash register and that they had to put it on a Gamestop Visa card. I said sure no prob but heres where a dodgy/lazy part comes in play. My entire trade in value came up to a total of $44.00. Using that total the same time I was in the store, I walked over and I grabbed 3 $10 PS Store Gift cards which = to $30 which shouldve left me with $14 left. However after the transaction with the gift cards the cashier mentioned something about if I wanted to keep a remaining 80 cents or not after the transaction. I shrugged it off saying no because its only 80 cents. I dont know where this 80 cents came from at all. After I declined this 80 cents, she randomly in the blink of an eye just put the remainder $14 from my trade-in towards store credit without my permission. When I had asked for cash at the very start of coming in. I was a bit off and asked her if it was too late Im assuming? and she said "correct" after handing me my receipt. I dont know what this person was doing but I expected a smooth and easy process.

My husband traded his ps4 and accessories and got the Nintendo switch oled. The cashier was the only one holding it down yesterday night and provided great conversation and helped us as needed.

My oldest wanted to go and buy himself and his brothers Pokémon cards.Kyle was extremely nice and ever so patient with them answered all of their questions and helped them at the register.Humbles me to know there are nice people out there still.

There’s a super kind worker named Kyle and tonight he helped a ton!! I was in a horrible situation with being scammed from a different company and he helped me as best as he could to get everything all set for my dad’s Christmas gift! People like him are reasons on why I still have faith in our world!

I've heard terrible things......but I've only scored big time here especially Biddeford. If I wasn't pleased with what I got them I can easily swap it out. The manager is awesome she really knows her stuff. Overall I personally will stick with this place.
