We used a well-known national tax company for years and they made some mistakes. We decided to go to an actual CPA and friends recommended Isaacs. They were thorough and professional and filed amended returns for us because of the previous company's mistakes. Isaacs has higher rates than we had paid before, but it was worth it. If you want good quality service you have to pay for it. I highly recommend Isaacs.

When I started my new business, I turned to family for recommendations on an accountant. My family of business owners all recommended Isaac and Associates, so I reached out and began working with Ann. She was thorough, intelligent, kind, and answered questions I didn't even know to ask. Though I did find the tax preparation rates to be a bit high, I also came to her with a year's worth of information that she and her team kindly sorted and reviewed with me, so that I would be more prepared in years to come. I would recommend working with Isaac and Associates!

I've been working with Ann over there for a while. She is incredibly detailed, professional, and so nice. I trust her advice and appreciate her spending the proper time to insure things are prepared correctly for myself and my wife. Asks great questions sometimes that I would not think of. Excellent services and communication back to us.

I always recommend Isaacs and Associates to my friends and family. Their service and knowledge is superior. They advise me throughout the entire tax year- always available to get me answers very quickly.

This is a zero star review (unfortunately I am not able to give 0). I had an identical experience to Kathy who has also left a review here. To call me experience with I&A bad would be a disservice to those reading this. Myself, family members, and friends have all had beyond terrible experiences here. Google tells me that an individual state/federal tax preparation should cost in the neighborhood of $220. My individual state/federal came back at over double this average (on 4/17/22 only 1 day before taxes were due). When asked for an itemized copy of the invoice (April of 2022) I never received one until today (12/9/22) of which $90 was unaccounted for and it was partially hand written. I did not end up filing this return with I&A and went elsewhere and paid ($150). This has easily been the worst customer experience I have had in recent memory. I would volunteer to get a healthy adult tooth pulled before dealing with them again. Go elsewhere.

I had been with Larry Schoff for years. Isaacs & Associates retained his clients as well as another business in Portsmouth. They were not prepared at all. I was told 2 week turnaround time when I brought my info in on February 15th. I just received my return a few days before taxes are due. And this is after many phone calls. Please do not use them as your accounting services. They are terrible!!! They obviously treated Larry’s clients as well as others second. I personally know clients from the Portsmouth office they retained and same treatment as Schoff Associates. Do not use Isaacs and Associates.
