Price gouging at its best at this place. They are charging $45.00 per ton more than other local stores in Belfast and Hampden for pellets.

I have been purchasing shavings for my farm since 2014, to the tune of over $100,000!! They increased the price TWICE in three months with no notice. I have only been 2 months behind in all these years...when I told them I couldn't afford them anymore, Todd said, oh OK. Wow!! Absolutely no customer service, frequently late with deliveries, inconsistent bag weights and outrageous pricing. NOT small business friendly. Search elsewhere agricultural friends if you are looking for someone to care.

Brought my chainsaw in as it was running poorly. They had it for about 2 months, charged me $160 and gave it back. It ran as poorly as when I brought it in. I brought it back and again they had it for a couple of months. I had my daughter pick it up as they never called and they gave her someone else's saw. The saw still runs poorly! I can't say much about the lumber part, but I would not take my saw back to their saw shop!

Based on my experiences in Machias Ben, Timothy and one delivery man, lie and are unethical to cover their lies. Diane is rude and disrespectful. Head yard guy is excellent and the guys in the yard are great! Beware inside people try to steal and lie! Keep all receipts, take pictures of anything you send back on the delivery truck once it’s on the truck. Sign nothing before reading. Question every interaction you have with inside people. Belfast head office was polite and timely and I believe they were the force behind getting Machias to return money owed back to me for that I am grateful!

Viking delivered 14 Windows for the renovations at my cottage. All were delivered in October, could not install until May of 21. When last window was uncovered for the install, we discovered it was damaged beyond use. At delivery, the man carried all Windows to my basement. I asked him to wait for contractor. He did not. He had put damaged window , facing wall, and covered it with 2 more Windows before the contractor arrived. He did not reveal to us that box was destroyed at bottom. May first we began install. May 9th the carpenters discovered the damaged window. Sales person, Gregg, said it could not be repaired or returned for credit due to 30 day policy. We were in middle of pandemic, we were told to order right away even though they could not install until spring. WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE VIKING OR ANDERSEN STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT AND REPLACE THE DAMAGED WINDOW. Viking refused. Which means we must pay twice for a window that was damaged by Viking Lumber employee.

I just went into viking in milbridge to pick up some adhesive. Asked an employee to help me find the strongest stuff. She showed me pl 5200. Turns out it's $30 a tube. I asked if they had a smaller tube and she showed me they do. It said $3.99!! I said great, ill take 2. I get to the counter and they are $20 a piece. I asked her to honor the shelf price. The manager got involved and said no ...he would offer no discount. None. I asked to sell me just 1 of the 2 tubes for a middle price of $10...he would not honor the price on his shelf. Horrible customer service on already trumped up prices at viking. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO VIKING LUMBER FOR ANOTHER ITEM
