This store is wonderful! Well-curated selection of tabletop games for all ages. Came in looking for a two player game, employee working provided several great suggestions. We went with 7 WONDERS DUEL and we LOVE it. Will definitely return next time I'm in Belfast! Thank you!

Working at a place like this might just be my dream job--tabletop and card games are some of my favorite things and each time that I go inside this store I feel like I've walked into a treasure trove filled with hidden gems of games that I might not find other places. Now, I rationally know that I can go on Amazon to find many of the games in this store... but you can hold them here. And look at them here. I think that makes all the difference. Not to mention that you can ask the opinion of the people working there on different games and they might be able to introduce you to something new that you might not have looked at before. (That kind of happened when I went in, I was looking for something specific and when they didn't have it I was shown around the wonder-room of other options and... well, let's just say that I spent much more than I thought that I was going to.) I've heard that there is a fun upstairs where kids can come and play games and hang out. I'm, unfortunately, too old for that and I don't live in Maine anymore... but--I think that is an amazing idea. I'm telling you, this store might be where my dream job lay.

What's not to love? This store is a central part of The Game Loft on the second floor: a home for area youth, meals for hungry kids, continuing ed., enrichment, fellowship and competitive games, annual historical presentations. Good good karma. Anyway, back to the shop: every game, puzzle, doodad and card trick you ever wanted, plus some cute rubber ducks. Sales. Advice. Special orders.
