Awful, rude, incompetent. So bad i submitted a complaint on corp website, requested a callback so i could fill them in. A month later, nothing. Can only presume management is aware and indifferent. Never shop at any Fam Dollar ever again.

Just drove in a blizzard to get my baby diapers and there’s a hand written sign on the door saying closed and a woman at the register in uniform inside looking at me who could care less. So done with this chain!!! This has happened too many times snow or no snow with their ridiculous hand written notes!

My daughter and I visited Family Dollar to get some cleaning supplies and cash back. During the time in the store we are listening to the on duty employees complaining about customers! Then i went to the check out and the guy waiting on me was very rude. I asked for cash back and he told me i could only get $10. When i was using my card i pushed $25. Completely unintentionally. He became extremely rude. I’ve worked customer service 31 years and never treated my customers like that. Its a customer service issue that should be fixed in store. Put more money in the register so you can help your customers with convenience!!!!

Avoid at all costs! Female manager got physically and verbally aggressive towards a nice little family shopping there. She really tried to intimidate them. Then the manager was bragging loudly to her coworker that she was going to physically throw the little mom with mental health issues out of the store! I have never seen anything like it. Nuts!! Something bad is going to happen with someone like that working there. Plenty of other dollar chains around. Life is too short to have to worry about dollar store managers on crazy power trips.

So I guess you’re not open until 8pm. Great. Would have done Valentines shopping earlier if we had known would be all locked up. And not going to drive 30 miles to another family dollar. I guarantee you will get people to work here if you get rid of the manager who constantly screams at everyone. Good or bad, she’s just a yeller. No one wants that coworker. I can’t believe the store is locked up at 5:45 the night before Valentines Day even though sign and internet say 8pm. And it’s totally lit up like it’s open, so you have to pull in, park, and go to the door before finding out they’re just randomly closed. Again!Get rid of the screamer so people will work here. We literally have to mentally prepare before going in.

The Manager Stacey is a amazing manager, I shop there frequently! On 01/19/2022 I was almost done checking out when forgot Swiss miss hot chocolate mix without me asking she went and got it for me she's has a positive attitude and amazing customer service skills!

I suggest calling first to make sure they are open. Be nice to the staff - that place seems like not a good place to work at.
