What an awesome museum. It has a little bit of everything, from ship building history, to Maine Camp culture, to small boats. It’s a museum, go check it out if you like that kind of thing.

It's a solid museum and worth the stop if you are passing by. Walk the grounds. You'll spend more time there than in the main building. It's not overly immersive, but it has a lot of really cool stuff including old timey tools and such. Don't forget to ring the fog bell and appreciate the immensity of the Wyoming.

The 2 hour river/light house cruise was great ! Lots of fun information given as the cruise went along. Even about the birds and seals of the area. Not boring at all !! I highly reccomend a visit to the museum and take fun cruise too !!

Lots of hands-on activities for kids, including a Pirate Playship! There's so much to see, admission is good for two days. See why USA Today named Maine Maritime Museum the "Best Museum in Maine!"
