I have used MW Sewall for over 10 years and never once had an issue with them. The office staff has always been very friendly and always got my propane delivery when I said I was going to. Well we just found propane at a cheaper price and from a local company so we switched over. I had MW Sewall come out to pick up their propane tanks and I got a bill for $70. I have to pay them to pick up their own tanks. Seems a little ridiculous to me. I get I had to pay to have them delivered, I paid to use them monthly but I have to pay them to pick up their tanks. I will not recommend this company to anyone in the future.

Was told it would be 145.87 for half a tank of propane just needed to fill out new client paperwork. Less than stellar communications later and about 14 days I hear back after filling it out (2 weeks prior) then they tell me it'll be 289.00 for a half tank and I argued and it was lowered to 189....unethical. I'll use a space heater.

Horrible customer service! I just bought my tanks from them and they quoted $287.9 per gallon in the letter dated 8/1/22 since I was going to be owning my own tanks. I was informed by “Paula Alexander, GM/HR” that the price changed to $319.9 back in June and that they would not honor the price quoted in the letter, but they would give me the $319.9 price if I was interested. This is the same company that went bankrupt 10 years ago. They clearly haven’t learned from their past business dealings and have no interest in doing what it takes to honor their word or please their customers. I asked if they could honor the $287.9 price for just one fill-up the next time it was needed and they would not do that either. If you are in the market for propane, run to anyone else, but M. W. Sewall. One cannot rely on their word.

Best customer service and pricing. Cares about people not just getting your money. Paula is honest and kind. We used another company for the past 5 years and we will not be returning to them because the service from MW Sewall is much better.

I have been disappointed multiple times by MW Sewall and will likely be switching providers if nothing changes. The final straw was having the technician who completed the annual service/cleaning of our oil burner fail to rehook everything back up properly, causing us to have NO heat in our home for 4 weeks (as we had to go out of state the same day the cleaning happened, so we did not find out until we returned). We are only lucky a pipe didn't burst! MW Sewall then charged me over $300 for a 30 minute service call(!) to fix the issue they caused. I also do not recommend setting up autopay with them as more than once I have caught a billing error that is only rectified when I call in (such as charging me 2 different rates for my 2 propane tanks of the same size at the same fill up or continuing to 'forget' to apply a $100 coupon that I had submitted). Take your business elsewhere!
